17 Flodden Road, London, SE5 9LJ
Flodden Road sits in Camberwell, a south-east London neighbourhood that has a practical mix of local shops, cafes, green spaces, and transport connections without the density or cost of more central zones. Denmark Hill rail and Overground station is the nearest major transport connection, serving Thameslink and London Overground routes.
From Denmark Hill you can reach Blackfriars, City Thameslink, and Farringdon on the Thameslink line, or switch to the Overground network for connections across south and east London. The Denmark Hill bus stop is also close by and covers local routes across Camberwell, Brixton, and Elephant and Castle.
For daily groceries, Camberwell Green has supermarkets within easy walking distance. Flodden Road cafes are the closest option for a quick coffee or lunch near the building. The Phoenix restaurant is nearby for a sit-down meal, and The Bear and The Sun of Camberwell are local pubs for evenings out. Ruskin Park is the nearest green space, a short walk from the property and large enough for running, studying outside, or just getting some fresh air between sessions at your desk. Camberwell Library is nearby for academic resources and quiet study sessions outside the building. King's College Hospital is nearby if you need medical attention. PureGym London Camberwell is close for fitness if you want an off-site gym option alongside the building's communal spaces.
Student apartment Brooke Hall offers three studio types, each self-contained with a private kitchen, private en-suite bathroom, and a comfortable bed with a dedicated study desk.

There are no ensuite rooms in shared flats at Brooke Hall London. Every resident has their own fully private unit.

It is the only room type that includes these adaptations, so students who require accessibility features should confirm details directly with the House of Student team before booking.
The Standard Studio at £309 per week is the most popular option and gives you everything you need for independent daily living in a well-organised layout. The Large Studio at £319 per week adds extra floor area for students who want more space for hobbies, a larger desk setup, or simply more room to move around without feeling cramped.
Contact the House of Student team to confirm which studios are currently available for your intake year and to check live pricing before making a booking decision.

Because every unit at student house Brook Hall is fully self-contained, the costs beyond Wi-Fi depend on your own usage within your studio. Contact the House of Student team to confirm the full billing details that apply to your tenancy before you book, so your weekly budget accurately reflects everything you will pay.

The TV lounge and lounge area give you spaces to spend time with other residents without needing to use your own studio, which is useful when you want a change of environment or to meet people in the building.

Table football gives residents a light recreational option in the building without needing to go out. The lounge and TV lounge together give you two communal spaces for different moods, with the lounge better suited to conversation and the TV lounge geared towards watching something as a group. Bike storage is a practical addition given the cycling connections from Camberwell toward Elephant and Castle, Brixton, and the South Bank.

I love this accommodation especially the accommodation manger Tony. He is soo friendly and helpful. He made me enjoy my stay. Maria is very kind and helpful as well. She is so sweet. She deserves a bonus as well as Tony.
rä
Lived there for a year, staff are lovely and it's relatively local to transport links, buses and trains but the amenities are prone to breaking. I had a stove top explode on me, the hood light had a fuse blow and shattered, my shower consistently had issues but the studio was a decent size.

I genuinely couldn't recommend these halls more, the price is reasonable and whilst not the fanciest of student accommodations, they have just been taken under new management and the team have refurbished the common areas which are kept very clean and tidy. You can tell that the accommodation manager really cares (tall man with beard, apologies I can't think of his name) is so helpful and a positive influence on the students, not only that but he fixed a small teething problem so quickly and efficiently, I had my reservations about my son living away from home however he 100% reassured us this was the right place for our son. It's in such a fantastic location close to UAL main campus and has a real community feel. We've already enquired about rebooking for next year.
Alex Aguiar
It is a quite and well located building. The real plus is the welcoming and constant support from the guys who work there: Tony, Greg and Maria. Always ready to help us anyway we need!
Pete Middlehurst
Can’t fault the place, great location and fair price but the biggest plus are the staff! Couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful
