I stay in an en-suite room which I find fairly spacious. The bathroom is indeed small but you can’t go any bigger with the price you are paying plus it is still usable just fine. The heaters in the rooms work really well too I’ve never felt cold in my room even when its snowing. The staff is most of the time available and ready to help with a friendly attitude. Scarlet helped me with most of my questions during my move in and she’s super lovely! (someone give her a raise😜) Overall if you are looking for a decent place to live in Leicester for a decent price Liberty Park is great! And they do free stuff sometimes who doesn’t like that aye?
Custard Factory
Please note that you are not allowed to unload your stuff when you move in or out using the carpark. All 25 bays are strictly for the 3x staff (unless you pay their student friendly fee of £850). There is no where you can unload other than parking down the road (only after 6pm) and Goodluck dragging all your heavy items down the busy road. If you do attempt to use the carpark to unload or load, security will storm into YOUR FLAT uninvited, start shouting, threatening and knocking to get you to move your car as having 4 cars parked in the 25-bay carpark may cause major discomfort to the unprofessional security team. Also don't try and submit a complaint about the security's behaviour, because the response you will get from the "safety officer" is: "You state in your email that the staff member you interacted with did not behave in a manner you found acceptable. I would like to apologise if this was the case". The keyword here is "if this was the case". They then will proceed to accuse YOU of being violent for asking the security man's name and I quote "I must however also remind you that harassment or intimidation of our staff, namely demanding their name and refusing to allow them to continue their duties unhindered, will not be tolerated and any repeat of this will be dealt with under our Conduct Management procedure". This is the response you'll get if you simply ask for the security staff's name. How comfortable would you be living in a building where you are not permitted to know staff name.

FORMAL COMPLAINT – HARASSMENT, INTIMIDATION & COMPLETELY UNSAFE LIVING CONDITIONS I am writing to you in a state of PROFOUND DISTRESS and UTTER DISBELIEF at the events that have taken place within what is supposed to be my HOME — a place I PAY FOR, a place I have EVERY LEGAL RIGHT to inhabit in PEACE, DIGNITY, and SAFETY. Without any justification whatsoever, staff members of this accommodation chose to come to my flat and SHOUT AT ME — INSIDE MY OWN PRIVATE RESIDENCE — in a manner so AGGRESSIVE, so THREATENING, and so COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL that I was left SHAKING, HUMILIATED, and GENUINELY FEARFUL FOR MY PERSONAL SAFETY. I was not causing any harm. I was simply EXISTING IN MY OWN HOME. And yet I was treated like a CRIMINAL — cornered, intimidated, and screamed at by the very people who are supposed to ensure my wellbeing. This is not management. This is not professionalism. This is HARASSMENT, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Let me be absolutely clear: THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE. Not from intruders. Not from danger. And apparently, NOT EVEN FROM ITS OWN STAFF. I should not have to feel afraid inside my own four walls. I should not have to dread the sound of footsteps outside my door. I should not have to wonder whether the next knock will bring another episode of SHOUTING, INTIMIDATION, AND COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR MY RIGHTS AS A TENANT. The conditions of this accommodation are UNACCEPTABLE. The management is UNACCEPTABLE. The treatment of residents is UNACCEPTABLE. I am a student — living away from home, under enormous pressure — and instead of a safe and supportive environment, I have been subjected to an experience that has genuinely damaged my sense of security and mental wellbeing.

I have a very good experience here at my accommodation because it is so peaceful, water and electricity always available. Staff are always ready to listen to your complaints and solve quickly. Enough shelves in the rooms to put stuffs on and also double bed to make you feel comfortable.

Great place to stay, was originally worried as the reviews all seemed bad but I have only had a good experience so far. Lovely staff on hand night and day to help plus 24hour security makes you always feel safe. Plus compared to alot of other uni accommodation, Liberty Parks rooms feel somewhat spacious.
