I stayed in here for a single term last year. I had a standard studio on 3rd floor. At first, I kinda liked it being so close to Uni, commercial road, victoria park, etc. The building itself is so unique; being almost the tallest one around, with an outdoor sitting and nice view. The entertainment on 18th floor, i think, was so lovely. I won't forget when Kaz took me up there for the very first time. However, things changed later. Fire alarm was so annoying due to the big number of residents who don't care much about their cookings. Almost every week at least one time it had to go off; early morning, midnight, etc. The other thing was repair and maintenance; minor repairs ok but major/semi-major like for instance exaust fan/extractor I had to wait for almost a month to get it fixed. Speaking about the extractor, it was a little annoying as well since it has to work all the time; 24/7. Overall, it was a good experience for me as i was completely new to the city.

Being in my first year, the reception team has been very welcoming and fun to have conversations with. I get back from lectures tired and can always stop by to chat if I want. Plus any accommodation problems I’ve had, they’ve been able to help me with. Very grateful, thanks for supporting me during first year.

I'm so thankful to be living in Greetham Street!! The staff are extremely approachable and responsive with our needs - from parcels, repairs to proepery management! It feels like a community here!! When there are issues, such as our recent water disruption, we have been provided free water bottles to drink from and have received emails on updates regarding the situation. We also get regular cleaning checks and overall the building is really well kept!! The rooms and kitchen space are brilliant, and the common room is a fantastic space to invite friends over (I had my 19th Birthday Party there and it was wondering: pool tables, football tennis, ping-pong table, lovely view, board games)... I truly will miss this place when I move out for second year (as I want a fresh experience living in a house with my future housemates), but otherwise I would have stayed 100%!!
