Unite students make students united against the management! Absolutely overpriced place to stay as a uni student. The management is utterly disgusting! They did not inform us about the renovation until one week before the work starts! This is totally unacceptable. When we asked about the plan and compensation, the management was useless and unhelpful at all. The facilities are poorly maintained, major health and safety issues are clearly overlooked. Lights are broken, dusts everywhere, and you can find spiders in your room if you did not close your window properly. How disgusting! Overall avoid this place at all costs!

RUN AWAY !!!! Worst experience I’ve ever had in UK Bristol Cathedral Park Our rights as residents in the apartment at Cathedral Park have been violated. The apartment started renovations without consent and formal notice and they needed to redecorate every room. They did not make any effective notice from the first day of moving in to four days before the start of work, which was last Thursday, October 31, 2024. We did not receive the notification email until last Thursday and it was not an official document, just a brief notice. They asked us to move out of our current room and move to 10 empty rooms on other floors of the same building. During this period, no moving company was involved, and only the staff of this apartment would "help you" move things. If you are not in the room, their staff will forcibly move your belongings and will not guarantee any loss or damage, but will only help you call the police afterwards. The room repairs they are going to carry out now include almost all projects such as repainting. They will only give two days to clean and ventilate, which may not be able to completely avoid the potential harm of chemicals such as formaldehyde. And the manager just verbally said there would be no noise problem, but the same problem happened last year and was not solved Compensation: The manager said that compensation has been made by reducing the rent, but as far as our representative knows, the rent has not actually been reduced, but the "increase has been reduced" as the manager said, and the apartment has not informed the residents that the so-called "already reduced" rent they paid includes tolerance for renovations. If you want: a room that is driven away from renovations without proper notice, a manager who says the compensation is for you to reduce the rent increase, a front desk who speaks Chinese but insists that you speak English and mocks you, a light that has not been fixed for more than half a month, a sink that the front desk ordered you to unclog yourself, a broken TV in the cinema room and TV room, a broken and unreplaced vacuum cleaner, and a lane with no street lights at night, please move in to unite students, pay 300+ pounds per week and enjoy your life!

Security showing up at door because you've played quiet (louder side of a normal volume conversation, tested with a dB meter 50cm from both speakers, and readings under 45dB in our bathroom) music for 1 hour at 2pm on Sunday!!! Nice building, but don't live here unless you plan on living like a church mouse! Music that is quiet enough to talk over comfortably without raising your voice draws complaints. Management letting us change rooms without problem which should solve issue, as me and my partner decided this involved less compromise all round. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and it's a fairly small team so you get to know them. Probably an over harsh review because we were unlucky enough to have bizarre neighbours, but good building, good staff...

Booking was easy, me and my boyfriend liked the look of a couple of rooms so arranged a show around. Found a perfect room with lovely features. We needed to move in a few days earlier which was no hassle, staff are very accommodating and friendly. Lots of social events are arranged and held in common room or cinema room. 24/7 security. Gym with standard cardio equipment, and free weights. Community areas are kept clean. Only down sides are - is fridge is a little small for two people. (Local supermarket very close by) -frequent power cuts -had to move rooms, due to complaints that made me feel uncomfortable in the room we started in. Management offered to help resolve issue.... but unfortunately we felt nothing could could be change to make both parties happy so we decided to move rooms. (Management made it simple and easy to do so)

If you want a massively overpriced bit of accommodation that unite care so little about that they don't even have any permanent reception staff then this place is great. It even has windows that open 3 inches but the airflow to them is completely blocked by walls on the side so you get no air in your room and it's incredibly well insulated so you bake to death in the heat :) dw unite also don't care when you complain either
