Pretty better now with new management operating by Mansion Student company. Everything quite good, especially the view from my room. And the studio is comfortable, bright, cosy, and do have a lot of storage space, comfortable desk and toilet. Just something that the management needs to be improved is the inside hallway, not the outside with carpet one are bit dirty and scary tbh when looking down and outdated. Maybe some painting or make some barriers like webs on the top floor at every single base will feel better when looking down.

I notice water dripping and leaking from the ceiling in my bathroom. This is the third time happening to me which is unfair.

I lived in a 2-person flat which was decent, the sink was quite small as well as the fridge and kitchen counter but we made it work. The kitchen sink also clogs easily. Unfortunately, the building layout is quite weird; if I had seen it in person before booking, I wouldn't have stayed. The laundry room was out of use numerous times, for 3 months one time and then for a couple of weeks again, there was flooding in the laundry room, which after being resolved was followed by numerous leaks, we had to use the laundry at an alternative accommodation across the street which was very inconvenient considering what we paid for. A common room was pretty much unavailable for a long time during the year. The drain in the shower clogs very easily and can leak if not frequently unclogged (Mr muscle). The front door stopped working for a little while, meaning it would not lock which was a security issue and not dealt with very quickly. The intercom does not work and if you are not home when your packages are delivered you have to rearrange re-delivery or have it delivered to the Post Office. Overall, the accommodation suffered many issues while I stayed there, if not for the issues I would have given it a 3 or 4 as the lack of intercom, the difficulty of receiving parcels and the strange layout still made it a bit difficult to enjoy my stay

Lift breaks down all the time basement is flooded every other day pretty much , they don’t let you know when these things happen , £2.50 a wash and £1.50 a tumble dry , front door always smells like wee. In conclusion there’s always something wrong with this place and they won’t tell you this at all , I asked when I moved in if the lift was dodgy and I was told no but with in the first week at least 3 people told me it had been out for months prior. when you get into a property , again minor inconveniences but it’s manageable . Overall not too happy with this place but good location for nights out and transport :)

I have lived here for two years and it has been a really good experience overall. For every occasion be it Christmas or Easter, there are always warm wishes sent to us and treats placed for us, which makes international students feel welcomed and a home away from home. Even deliveries and parcels are easy to receive as there is space provided to place them. The staff have always been extremely kind and responsive to resolve any maintenance issues we face quickly and follow up on our concerns after resolving too. The only concern I had was the fire alarm often going off which I reckon are false warnings at times, which are extremely frustrating often even at odd times which could have been minimised. Nonetheless, the staff were sometimes quick to resolve it. Although the flats are expensive to rent, I would recommend students to opt to live here in the future for a safe and happy experience!
