About this property
Finding student accommodation in Bristol isn't difficult. Finding somewhere that genuinely fits your day-to-day university life is another matter. A good location, comfortable living space and practical facilities can make everything from early morning lectures to late-night study sessions much easier. William and Matthew House Bristol brings those essentials together, giving students a well-connected place to live within easy reach of universities, transport links and the city's most popular student neighbourhoods.
Whether you're planning to live independently in a studio or share an apartment with others, the property offers accommodation to suit different lifestyles and budgets. Modern communal spaces, inclusive bills and a central Bristol location all add to the experience, making it a practical choice for students who want to enjoy the city while keeping university life simple.
Your accommodation quickly becomes much more than the place where you sleep. It's where lectures begin with an early coffee, assignments get finished before deadlines and evenings often end after catching up with friends in the shared spaces downstairs. The right accommodation quietly becomes part of your routine without demanding too much thought, letting you focus on everything else university has to offer.
William and Matthew House has been planned around that idea. Students can choose from self-contained studios or shared three-bedroom apartments, depending on how they prefer to live. Shared apartments suit those who enjoy having flatmates around, while studio accommodation gives you your own kitchen, bathroom and study space in one private setting.
Every room arrives fully furnished, so there's very little to organise before moving in. Outside your own accommodation, residents have access to communal facilities that make the building feel much more than a collection of rooms. The cinema room, games room and common room create places where people naturally meet, while on-site management helps keep everyday living running smoothly throughout the academic year.
For students looking for William and Matthew House student accommodation, the property offers a balance between independent living and shared experiences. Whether you're arriving in Bristol for the first time or returning for another year, settling into the building feels straightforward from the day you move in.

There was a problem with the water pressure in the house. While taking a bath, the water ran out. The management said that they had been dealing with it for a week but no one came to handle it. The sound insulation of the house is also very poor. The bar was constantly noisy at night, and I could hear it clearly from inside the house. The refrigerator smells bad. I told them to get a new one, but no one came to solve the problem. Have a good attitude but firmly refuse to change. The house is both expensive and of poor quality, and it has unfair terms. Even though there are problems with the rented house, they still refuse to solve them. Once a contract is signed, the rent must be paid continuously regardless of whether the house meets the rental standards...Crazy!!!

Building is in a great location ( right in the city centre), flats are new and very clean, rooms are well equipped and kitchen is very spacious with a big window that makes it full of natural light. It’s a very modern yet homey place to stay while being close to the university and shopping places at the same time.
Harshinee Goordoyal
So far the best student accommodation I have lived in. The rooms are new and nicely-designed, making for a pleasant, comfortable stay. There are plenty of facilities available on site including a gym, cinema room, study room and common room. The staff are always friendly, and have helped me with so many things from the day I applied for the accommodation till after I had moved out! They organised multiple events throughout the year, with loads of free food, drinks and even gifts. The only thing is that it is a bit pricey compared to other student accommodation options in Bristol, but 100% worth it imo given everything they offer and the building's convenient central location.

Best student accommodation! Lived here for two years, the most friendly and attentive staff you'll ever meet. At a comfortable location in between city centre and university, no complaints with appliances whatsoever.
