Such a nice cozy spot, comes with a shared kitchen, own bathroom, own room which is pretty spacious for just one person! The he receptionists are superb, always ensuring my problems are situated. Angel the receptionist has been wonderful and helpful, aiding in my packages and keeping them organized for me to just stop by and get them! Community is warm, I think many of us are Queen Mary students! The environment is really accessible to several affordable grocery markets and fast food restaurants for a quick bite! Definitely recommend

I just wanted to say how amazing Angel and Pele is. She and he are both so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble for her. They’re warm attitude really makes the accommodation feel like home, and I’m so grateful for all the support she gives to residents. They both truly makes a difference every day.

I mean this in the most caring way - please look for another student accommodation. This one is not worth it. I don't recommend this place. Apart from being very close to the centre, there is no other advantage unfortunately. The construction work has been going on since beginning of December, but they said it cease by end of December. Now it's February and we still can't open our windows because there's construction noise and construction workers everywhere, from early in the morning until afternoon, Mon-Fri. We often get woken up by construction noise early in the morning. Sometimes we can't study in our own room or the study place in the building because of the construction noise. Can't open the blinds in my room either, because there are construction workers from morning until afternoon, Mon to Fri, who can see inside my room. I have attached pictures so people interested in this place can see what we have to see every day. Hearing all the noise is no delight either. Moreover, in December 2021, the fire alarm would go off at 12am, 2am, 3-4am for an hour - sometimes even for TWO hours after midnight. This would happen so often that I struggled with the lack of sleep I was getting. This happened for around 3 weeks. Imagine getting woken up at 3am by a fire alarm; it's nerve-wracking. The hot water doesn't always work either and if you go to the reception to kindly ask them to solve the issue, or any other issue for that matter, they simply dismiss you. Perhaps the management here is at fault, or whoever is in charge of training the staff here and is responsible for the state of this building. At the end of the day, if these cons aren't a deal-breaker for you, then by all means book a room here.

The people at the front desk are always friendly and helpful, from giving travel recommendations to making me feel at home. Angel was particularly helpful today! This is a great team!

I wish I could give Zero Stars as 1 star is generous. If you value your social life, physical health or emotional well-being DO NOT book here. I had a doctor sign off that this place has made me unwell. They deserve criminal prosecution for the atrociously bad conditions. I’ve almost had a nail through my foot, none of the facilites are open, you cannot get a good night sleep. Was without a working fridge for months, oven for weeks and hot water for a week at a time also. I’ve almost tripped on loose exposed electrical wire, of which there was quite a lot. I’m woken up around 8am every morning by ferocious drilling by builders, which shakes my room so much that there is dust coming from shaking the window frame. The noise is so loud I have constant headaches & cannot complete any uni work. The view from my window is blocked and I have had builders looking in constantly. They also promised me a rent reduction, because of how unpleasant it is, which they never actually gave me, because they’re liars, especially when they sell you the place. The staff are completely useless which extends all the way to management. Most of the receptionists have more attitude than ability. The entrance makes you feel physically sick as it stinks from the bin store. Do not book with this Unite or any other Unite for that matter, you’ll regret it.

Common questions
There are TVs in many of the communal areas, and some bedrooms include TVs too - you can check what's available at your property on your property page or in your welcome guide. You'll be sent a link to your welcome guide before you arrive. You will need a TV licence for your bedroom if you‚are watching TV live or on-demand, and if you have a TV licence for your bedroom this automatically covers the communal kitchen too. If you just want to watch TV in the communal kitchen, then you and your flatmates can arrange a single TV licence together. Students living in a studio will also need to arrange their own TV licence if you plan to watch TV live or on-demand
