About this property
Finding student accommodation in London usually means balancing location, budget and daily travel. Flora Building Hoxton London makes that decision a little easier if you're studying around Shoreditch, the City or central London. Hoxton Station is only a short walk away, Old Street is nearby, and several universities can be reached without spending half the day on the Underground.
Room choices range from shared apartments to private studios, so you can decide how much privacy you want. If you'd rather cook in your own kitchen, that's an option. If sharing with one other student suits your budget better, you'll find that here too.
Many students also choose Flora Building Hoxton because they spend plenty of time inside the building as well as outside it. Study rooms, a gym, shared lounges and outdoor spaces give you somewhere to work, relax or meet other residents without leaving home.
Address:
11–13 Long Street, Hackney, London E2 8HJ, United Kingdom
The address puts you in one of East London's best-connected student neighbourhoods. Hoxton, Shoreditch and Old Street all sit within walking distance, so cafés, supermarkets, restaurants and transport links are part of everyday life rather than something you travel across London to reach. Hoxton Overground Station is about five minutes away on foot, while Old Street Underground Station is also close enough for regular journeys across the city.
Every student has different priorities. Some want a shorter journey to university. Others care more about having their own kitchen or finding somewhere quiet to study after lectures. Flora Building - Hoxton brings those things together in one place.
Hoxton Station is around a five-minute walk away.
Old Street Station is also nearby for Underground connections across London.
Choose from studios, twin rooms and shared two-bedroom apartments.
Every room includes air conditioning, which isn't common in London student accommodation.
Rent covers utility bills and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Study rooms, games room, rooftop garden, gym and shared lounges are all available inside the building.
CCTV, secure entry and on-site staff help keep the building secure throughout the year.
Different students look for different room setups. Some are happy to share with a friend, while others prefer having their own space from the first day. Flora Building Hoxton London offers both shared and private options, with weekly rents generally ranging from £299 to £539 per person, depending on the room type, size and tenancy length. Utility bills and high-speed Wi-Fi are already included, so there are no separate monthly costs to plan for.

Although there could be some malfunction in the building , it is enjoyable to live in the building for majority of the time. There is nice a nice sky garden on the fifths floor, a study room and gym( although I didn’t used it though out of my stay). It is fairly close to Tesco , Sainsbury and a few off license shops- make it easy for getting groceries. Front desk staff are very friendly and willing to help. Sometimes they provide event that has free food or snacks like : national chocolates day.

Living at Prestige Student Living – Flora Building has been a truly comforting experience. The accommodation is modern, well-maintained, and highly appreciated. A special thanks to Roxanaa and Jenine at reception for their constant support, kindness, and accessibility—they always make students feel welcomed and heard. Manager Wilson’s disciplined and professional approach ensures everything runs smoothly, creating a reliable environment for all. I would also like to appreciate Mohammad Shakir from the security team for his attentiveness and care, always ensuring safety and peace of mind. Overall, the staff’s balance of discipline and genuine care makes this place feel like a true home for students.

Flora building was great for my second year of university. The room I had was extremely clean and comfortable. The AC is a great touch. Most importantly, the team at the front desk are great, especially Janine who was always helpful. She helped with payment dates, lease extensions and any issues. As well as Janine, Shakir is always lively and friendly in the evenings. Would most definitely recommend to anyone!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Fire alarms go off constantly minimum 8 times a week, countless complaints by students already and yet the management team seems to not care in the slightest. Day staff are also extremely unfriendly at times. They always seem to be confused and highly uncoordinated. There is one staff member which has been spotted drinking a glass of wine almost daily on duty which is extremely unprofessional. This place is not even worth 10% of what they charge. It is a shame as the facilities are lovely and the building itself is nice. It’s just a shame the management is bringing this place down. Security is lovely however, some of the nicest people I have met. Other Prestige properties i’ve stayed in are lovely. This is by FAR the most poorly managed site in an HR perspective. If you want a quiet, comforting and homely place. This place is NOT it. (Edit: Juice? in a wine glass??? Even if this were true, surely the management team can see how this portrays such a terrible image of the staff in charge)

I stayed here for my MBA year, it is a nice building with new amenities and 24/7 security. Weekday night shift security person Shakir is an amazing guy, always is doing his best to help us with whatever we need.
