Pros Wick Park offers very good budget accommodation in a convenient location. The common areas of the building and room were exactly as described by the property and shown in their photos. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and contained modern equipment. The provision of towels, shower gel, hand soap and a toilet paper were a welcome touch, not all places in this price range would do the same. Access throughout the building is controlled by your card key, thus everywhere feels very safe and secure. The property is only about 10 minutes walk from Hackney Wick tube station, so it is very easy to get anywhere in London from your base. All of the staff I met on-site were friendly and efficient. Once you have booked, the property remain highly communicative and always willing to assist with any requests, instructions were clear and detailed making check-in very smooth. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and small supermarkets nearby. Cons The motion activated light in the bathroom is really unwelcome in the middle of the night. It is worth noting that many of the (student) common areas are off limits to short term visitors. It is probably worth checking with the property before you book if certain facilities are of specific interest/importance to you e.g. kitchen or gym. For budget accommodation in this area Wick Park would be my first choice, it is good value for money.

Amazing room! Perfect for rest and remote work. Shame it does not have a mini fridge. But perfect nevertheless. Also amazing, is the area. Will definitely looking forward to staying here more times.

If you are the lucky person that reads this, DO NOT COME HERE. Everything was fine with checking in, except they didn’t even show me around. They just told me my room number, and that’s all. That’s somehow acceptable; it’s understaffed. So when I moved into my room, everything was fine. The room didn't look dirty, but it wasn't exactly clean either. Imagine going to a hotel and finding hairs in the shower. Would you stay there or not? Here is the best part; you can see from the pictures. The only kitchen area you're allowed to use is full of garbage, and the fridge is full of spoiled food. I don’t think any HUMAN can cook in there without getting sick. I don’t know which one is worse: that everyone knows about this issue and is not doing anything about it, or they don’t know anything about this issue. I talked with the receptionist, and the only thing she says is that you rented your room from Londonist and you should talk with them; their rooms are not under our control. I think it was the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I think it’s just a polite way to say it is not my issue; go somewhere else. This is your building, and they are damaging your property. Why the hell am I supposed to deal with this nonsense? Why are you not speaking with them? If they can't manage your property, you can fine them so they can fine the students that don’t know how to be an adult. The corridors are also full of dust. I talked with someone that’s staying in the same area as me she said that here is always like this and i just use here to heat something and i even do my dishes in my sink. Please solve this issue immediately.

Wick Park is a brand new student accommodation located at a walking distance from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The property represents creative design thinking skills and provides a soothing experience. The team, Olivia, Taylor, Reece, Uma, Shreyansh, and Alpha offer prompt support for your needs and foster a one-team, positive culture at the building. They are highly approachable and showcase respect and a friendly attitude towards everyone.

Wick Park was the perfect place for our daughter to start her time at LCF which is only 15 minutes walk away. This purpose-built accommodation complex has been carefully designed for today's students: wifi, air-conditioning, ensuite showers and bathrooms and a kitchen shared with the 8 people in your corridor. The common areas are outstanding. There are work stations, chill-out areas, a mini cinema for about 30 people as well as a gym and private rooms for group study. Free coffee all day (when the machine is working) and a personalised key-card system to increase security. My favourite area is the central patio with the barbacue service area for events that students organise for themselves. My favourite feature is the Parcel Room, where Amazon can drop off packages when you're not there. You then get an electronic message with a one-off code to access the room and collect your parcel. We used it a lot. But most of all, the team that work there are the ones responsible for making Wick Park such a special experience for full-time students. We were very fortunate to meet Taylor on our first tour and she and her team really went the extra mile every time and offered us all the help we needed over the last year. It really makes a difference to have someone that will listen to you when you are trying to arrange things from outside the UK. Thank you all and keep up the good work!
