Once your university place is confirmed, checking accommodation availability early can give you more room categories to choose from.
The Ballet School offers only self-contained studios, so students do not need to compare shared apartments or bedrooms within larger flats. Instead, the main decision is between the available studio categories, their weekly prices and the amount of space each option offers.
Availability can change during the Clearing period as more students confirm their university places. If you're considering The Ballet School Glasgow, it's worth checking the latest room availability and prices before making a booking.

I have stayed here for two years and I must say it is really good experience for me to live in Ballet School Accommodation because it just takes 8 minutes to walk to the main campus. Also, it is easy to arrive at the University Gym and Library. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. When I report problems with the broken bulbs on my kitchen ventilator and water leak in my bathroom, they take them down and arranges a maintenance member to fix them on the same day. Apart from that, another impressive part about my stay here is the studio room. I do like living in their studio rooms in Ballet School. It is quite big and provides me with a comfortable place during the period of lockdown.

The Ballet School is located very close to Uni. Glasgow and most of the main grocery stores/shops needed for every day life. The rooms have new furniture and are a generous size for one person. However, for the price being asked for rent, one would expect basic amenities like hot water, room heating, and laundry services to be reliable. Whole building blocks will often go days without hot water. Most recently, my building block went a full week without consistent hot water. For a few days, the water was a little warmer than room temperature, but even then the water would quickly lose heat. Individual room heating is often temperamental, leaving me with a room that was never warmer than 16C in the middle of December. I had to ask maintenance to come in to check my room heating 3 times before it was fixed properly. The Ballet School has a very small laundry room for 3 buildings to share, and the machines break down easily. The "bonus" amenities are also unreliable. The cinema is always down when I have tried to use it, common spaces are limited, and the gym is very small. As for mailboxes, we didn't even receive our mailbox keys until 6 months into our stay. I missed my voting ballot because the office was always closed by the time I came home from class and I couldn't retrieve it in time to meet the overseas voter deadline. For the price being paid, I would expect even just the basic necessities to hold some level of consistency. I really wanted Ballet School to work out for me, but the buildup of all these faults just adds more stress on top of my post-grad program. I came to this accommodation to make things easier on me, but I've just ended up with more of a headache.

I have lived there for two years. This year the heating in my room stopped working, but they helped me and solved the issue. I have to change very often the bulbs in my kitchen because they burn out very quickly. However, the manager is nice and tries to help whenever possible to solve our problems with the rooms. Moreover, all student accommodations contracts are full of rules and the washing machines (more than 4£ for one wash) are sometimes difficult to use because many students use them at the same time. If you have the time it's better to find a flat, more freedom and space. The reception is often closed.

Hi, my daughter is 7 years old and wants to learn ballet. Can anyone recommend a good place for her? Thank you. I'm in Glasgow.
WEta Replicas
Room is nice, the ambience of the accommodation itself is cozy. However, the room heater is fixed to “24* celsius” but the heater thermostat is broken and my room temperature is almost the same as the outside temperature. The reception is often closed. The opening hours is very limited. Although it is claimed to be open Monday-Friday 9am-5am, staff cannot be found.
