The Lodge of Athens, athens-ga

This residence is the best home I’ve ever had. People like Anisha and Tanner work here, and they make it an AMAZING experience. They’re extremely helpful, kind, and informative. From a stunning amenities package, quick communication about ANYTHING, and easy move in processes with low to no fees, this place really can’t be beat. It’s safe to walk around. It’s safe to park and walk into the building. The buildings are LIT up outside, so it’s very easy to feel like home. They have little pop up events to welcome people to meet each other, and they have an amazing 24/7 gym with everything you need! And this may seem small but they even have a video game room that’s super neat. The maintence team is super sweet and quick. Nearly NO bugs ever! It’s quiet at night EVEN NEXT TO DOWNTOWN! You’d think with it being a student housing type of complex that it’d be loud. It’s never loud! The walls are thick. The ceilings are too. And it’s a 3 minute drive from downtown, if that. I’m happy to call this place my home!

This is my first time of doing a Google review but its worth it at least with the service I've received so far and I'm basically doing this because we met Joel the first day we came in for tour and he delivered exceptional service, that man sure deserves to take his flowers. His exceptional customer service, warmth reception was one major thing that made us consider taking the apartment and he has been doing a great job helping and following up with our paper work to get our lease settled and he is very proactive also i love the fact that if he's not sure of something he will say he's not sure and he wouldn't want to give an incorrect response and he will confirm from his team before giving a response. Again I am truly impressed with Joel's services, I believe we will have a good time staying in the apartment and i hope the kind of service and attitude Joel gives to his job cut across every other person working there and other departments there.

Honestly this place is really nice when everything is functioning as advertised. The problem/key is WHEN as I had so many problems over my time here. First, while I understand maintenance can be overwhelmed with requests they were really slow addressing seriously issues. My roommate and I had a growing leak and we had to literally beg to them to send someone over to look at it as they didn't believe us for some reason. The shuttle similarly is a nice feature but would break down routinely or run way off schedule. I feel like a lot of people's experience will come down to their unit and how well maintained it was by previous residents. Overall, this place definitely had nice features but it just wasn't worth the price especially since they were pushing to up everyone's rates.

Terrible experience living here, One summer I was gone for a month and my entire closet and clothes were covered in mold from a pipe busting above my apartment. They had no solution and i'm pretty sure they just paint over mold. I had breathing issues the whole time living there. Also feel like there were times they were racist towards me and my friends at the pool.

The Lodge is a luxury apartment but the living experience here is not good. The room is overpriced and not large. The light bulbs and toilet are particularly easy to break. There are a lot of various bugs. The AC machines outside close to windows are really annoying especially at night. People become crazy and noisy during game day nights. The location is not close to the campus, and buses stop running early sometimes. In this case, it is tiring to walk back from campus. Surely, they provide a few perks and hold activities sometimes. The gym and pool are clean and great. WiFi is free covering all the areas. But, here could not be a good place for UGA students.
