The Haven of Athens, athens-ga

Honestly one of the best places I’ve ever lived in my college years! Great units with awesome amenities! Management was always super nice, quick to respond to maintenance needs, and the gate made me feel safe. Was the perfect distance from campus so I could choose if I wanted to be super involved some days or more laid back other days. Would highly recommend to anyone moving to Athens.

I have absolutely loved living at The Haven of Athens! It was so easy to call this place home. From taking my classes from the pool to staying out late chatting on our patio, the past few months here have been nothing but memorable. Reading this review I wrote from a year ago, I would continue to say the same thing. The area is perfect if you are looking for something close to campus. Our new management so far has been doing a good job staying involved with residents and upkeep of the neighborhood. I still enjoy living here and would recommend it to others. *Update to my previous reviews I have lived at the Haven since it was built back in 2020. Since Landmark purchased this property, the unprofessionalism within management has been greatly evident. They don’t care about residents as much as they promote on social media so don’t be fooled. They tell you what you want to hear so you’ll sign a lease. I will not be resigning and I don’t recommend any property owned by Landmark. This is such a nice property but it’s not worth the trouble.

The Haven is the best college living experience I have ever had! I love how modern and well-maintenanced the houses are, and it’s really nice having a good gym, study rooms, and year round open pool here as well. Ever since new management took over last fall, I have nothing but positive things to say. They are very responsive, kind, and definitely do everything they can to build a strong community within the complex and take care of any issues that arise. Definitely glad I found this place!

I have enjoyed living here the past two years. The property is beautiful, and the apartment is modern. However, I believe the management can be inadequate at times. They falsely promised lower rates for renewing residents —my rent is $890 a month— and contrarily, new residents are offered even LOWER rates of $760-790. I would’ve canceled my lease and moved somewhere cheaper and safer had I known before renewing. The management neglects the frequently malfunctioning gate, leaving it open to any intruders, which is a safety hazard…not to mention the multiple intruder attempts to break into cars and apartments throughout my years staying here.

I love living here! The gym is the best and I use it every week day feels like I have a private one at home! The pool is great during the summer
