The Townhomes At River Club, athens-ga

I’m a new resident but so far I have had SUCH a good experience here! Their maintenance team is unmatched compared to other complexes in Athens. I truly think the price is worth it for the Townhomes, you get so much space and me and my roommates love the neighborhood vibe here. They have been so responsive and seem to genuinely care about their residents. I recommend SO much after all my great experiences here especially with maintenance!

I could not think of a better place to live here in Athens. All townhomes were renovated with new appliances over the summer. I live in a 4 bedroom 4 bath, and it’s such a beautiful layout, feeling like a home away from home. The townhomes are right down the road from the apartments, so it’s not a hassle to enjoy the amenities of the clubhouse study areas, gym, and other facilities. I will say bugs can be a nuisance during the warmer months, as it’s located in a wooded area, but you get that anywhere. Pest control does come out every Thursday and will spray your house/set traps if you put in a request. For the parking situation, you rarely have a hard time finding somewhere to park unless it’s late at night. For the wifi, you do have to set it up your own and pay it through Spectrum every month, but it’s not too big of a deal, as it was easy to set up (the company is aware it’s mostly college students trying to set it up, so they are very helpful in walking through payments, start up, etc.). My biggest compliment goes to maintenance. They are very quick and efficient, and my requests are responded to within a day usually. Last Saturday my toilet handle broke right before I was having many people over, and I panicked due to the office being closed Sat-Sun. I called maintenance after hours and they were in and out of my townhome within 30 minutes. I LOVE the community, so if you’re debating on living here, just do it!

I lived at River Club all four years of college and absolutely loved it! I didn’t have any roommates to start with so I was super nervous about living with random people, but the questionnaire when I moved in allowed them to place me with girls who are now my best friends! We spent so many weekends at the pool making friends with other people who lived there too. The office had events all the time so we were always getting free shirts and food, which is the fastest way to every college kid’s heart. Maintenance was always quick to fix any issues we had, and luckily bugs were never an issue for us. So thankful for River Club for helping make my college experience unforgettable in the best way!

I have lived at river club for 3 years, 2 at the townhomes and 1 at the apartments. My experience there has been great, it’s a great price point for what you get compared to other properties around Athens. It’s in a good central location you’re 10 minutes from campus, multiple restaurants, and grocery stores. They have always been very quick to help me resolve roommate issues as well as a few maintenance problems I’ve had during my time there. Overall I have thoroughly enjoyed living here, I wish I wasn’t leaving Athens next year so I could resign.

This apartment complex has been a HUGE upgrade from my last. The townhomes are super cute & spacious, especially for the price. There’s the Athens transit that comes hourly on the weekdays, which is helpful when you don’t have a parking pass for school. The maintenance crew is wicked nice, and the office hosts cute little events every month or so. The only issue we’ve ever had was that our bedrooms all had different furniture supplied. I’d 100% recommend my friends live here too!
