Surrey Square Town Homes, athens-ga

I had a great experience and would recommend living here. I lived at Surrey Square for two years, voluntarily choosing to renew my lease. The apartment is a little small in line with the very affordable rent you pay to live here. The appliances and pool are kept in good condition - I was spoiled by the great water pressure in the sink and shower. Maintenance requests are taken care of in a reasonable amount of time and noise from neighbors is minimal. By far the best part of living here is that Green properties is owned by Jeff Green, a decent actual human being who is on sight 9-5 Monday through Friday. When I needed something urgently done I texted him and he responded. The few times I had an actual problem I would walk fifty feet over to the office and discuss it with him. Having a person instead of a corporation as your landlord is seriously awesome. Overall I'd recommend Surrey Square and Green properties. It's cheap rent for pretty good housing and zero landlord BS that is all too common in college towns. Also - if you do live here - there's a couch hidden somewhere in woods on Riverbend.

I absolutely loved living here! Jeff is an amazing property manager and always has your back. The apartments are very clean, updated, and comfortable. The pool is very nice, and the mail, bus stop, and dumpster are very close to your apartment no matter which side you live on. This is the perfect place to live in Athens if you are a student. It’s close to campus and the grocery store.

Loved my time here! I spent two years here at an undergraduate. The neighbors are quiet and respectful. The place is well-kept and clean. The landlord truly listens to your problems and keeps great communication with you. All apartments have their issues, but at Surrey Square, the owners make it their priority to do everything they can to resolve them. Also, the bus route is super convenient.

I lived in Surrey Square for 3 years and I would highly recommend it! There is a good bus system to UGA so it was great when I did not have my own car. The location is great too since it is close to campus but also near the highway so you can get to any point in Athens, GA in 15 minutes. The landlord is great and will attend to your needs as best he can. Though the space is not big but it does not feel cramped. Do turn in your application early because their spaces get filled up fast!

I lived here since 2017. Just moved out two weeks ago. I loved my apt in Surrey Square and Jeff is the best landlord I have ever met. He is very kind and friendly. Quick response and great maintenance. Highly recommend
