Glassworks - Liverpool, liverpool

Glassworks has been incredible value for money. The rooms are sizeable with a decent amount of storage. There's a wardrobe with a hanging rail and a shelf at the top, 2 large wardrobe drawers, 3 large desk drawers and 2 compartments under the bed. The bathroom was easy to clean and not too compact. The shower had really good water pressure the entire time I stayed and the extractor fan was very quiet. The desk is actually quite large which is great for someone who wants to bring a desktop computer with them. I noticed a lot of accommodations have really small desks that look like they're only built for laptops. I've had a large monitor with a standing base and had room for a large keyboard in front of it plus a wrist wrest. The kitchen/social area was very large and there was good storage for everyone. I believe we all had 2 cupboards each and space in the fridge/freezer that we picked on arrival. Our oven was clean and worked with no faults however the stickers had worn off around the dials and there wasn't a manual so I would definitely ask reception about yours to save having to figure it out as the model was hard to find online.

Very welcoming student accom with a high standard. The room was in very good condition the way I found it and any issues were sorted swiftly and sustainably. Common rooms are kept clean and stocked with everything it needs. Security is always there for any issues, staff is incredibly helpful and overall just a very relaxed living environment!

Such a great place to stay for your first year of Uni! There is always someone at reception who are prepared to help you and are lovely people, I recommend getting to know them early on to help you feel settled in. Facilities are great. Also nice and close to the centre of Liverpool, with a small Tesco and GP surgery down the road.

Ive really enjoyed my stay at this accommodation, the staff here are amazing and very friendly, they make sure each problem in tended too and they make sure out environment feels safe. The only issue I have is that the WiFi is really slow at time or just outright doesn’t work but other than that, the common areas are great and a big shout out to our security guard Alan for always making sure we are safe and okay!!

The staff here are 10/10, truly great people. However, my personal experience with the building wasn't the best. It’s quite noisy—you can hear everything from the rooms next door—and the infrastructure isn’t always in good condition. Common areas could be cleaner too. If you don't mind these details, it might work for you, but it wasn't for me
