The apartment itself, since being renovated, is pleasant on the inside. Had no issues with maintenance. However, it seems there is a difficulty with enforcing the rules of the lease. I have had issues with roommates being highly unhygienic (dishes and food left out for days), as well as multiple not obeying single occupancy of the rooms. Response from landlord was apathetic at best. Staff of the leasing office has been consistently rude. Despite there being at least 13 buildings in the complex, there is one guest parking zone. The zone is more than 800 ft from my building. The guest parking zone also does not have handicap parking nor an accessible path from it to my building. On top of these issues, I have failed to receive mail and packages in a timely manner (I have been waiting on a "delivered" USPS package for 4 days). You get what you pay for with this one. Update: All responses from owner appear to be AI-generated (put them into AI text detector).

Do not move here if you ever want to have guests over. The towing company that the complex partners with is out of control and predatory in ways I have never seen before. For the 10+ buildings in the complex there is a singular visitor lot and once it fills up there is nothing you can do and you will almost definitely be towed for parking outside of it. The towing company has towed my friend’s car twice for expired tags. After the first time, my friend was told they have 14 days to get new tags and was also told they were put on a “do not tow list.” Despite this, the car was towed again 12 days later and when we reached out to the towing company they literally said “it is what it is” and that there is no legal statute preventing them from doing so. The apartment complex will do nothing to help you in situations like these because they are profitting off of it. I see cars get towed almost every night and it is extremely frustrating and sad knowing that most of the residents here are low-income and/or students. The apartment itself is also shitty. Almost all of our appliances required maintenance upon moving in. They are able to keep rent low by doing the bare minimum.

⭐️ Apartment Review: The Good, The Bad, and the “Why Did I Stay Two Years?” Years Lived: 2021–2023 🌟 The Pros: Year One? Chef’s Kiss. Once my midnight chef of a roommate (and her hobo boyfriend) finally moved out — the place turned into a calm oasis. Peaceful, clean, and quiet. I shared the apartment with a lovely mix: an Army gal, a college student, myself (teacher life!), and a sweet 85-year-old grandma. Everyone respected each other’s space, schedules, and sanity. It was a dream — for a while. Maintenance Crew = MVPs (Mostly). The maintenance guys were quick, polite, and genuinely helpful — when they were allowed to be. They handled most repairs right away, though apparently “three weeks to fix a shattered room” wasn’t considered urgent once a chaotic roommate left after only living here for 2 months *She broke her lease and found someone else after a few months because "we were stressing her out" and she moved to another state. She really was a problem as she almost set the apartment on fire her 1st night and had an unauthorized dog living with her. So even though the window latches were broken (anyone could enter). They didn't care and took their time. If you want an apartment to care about your safety. Find another place. Rent Price (At First). Reasonable for what it was — until they charged extra for the new “luxury” hardwood floors that replaced the carpet. Apparently, $700/month buys you shiny floors and the illusion of safety. (It used to be like $500). 🚫 The Cons: No On-Site Office = Wild West Vibes. The leasing office was located at an entirely different complex, so this place basically ran on chaos and chihuahuas. (Literally. One tenant’s ankle-biters roamed freely like they owned the place.) No management meant no accountability — and yes, that’s how random people, sketchy visitors, and “guests” snuck in and out like it was a revolving door. Safety? Questionable at Best. Year two was a full-blown crime documentary. Gunshots in the parking lot, massive car break-ins (we’re talking hundreds), and not a single added security measure in sight. Roommate Roulette Gone Wrong. After my calm first year, the roommate lottery got brutal. One sweet, independent young woman (amazing). And one 18-year-old chaos magnet (not amazing). She nearly set the place on fire by melting plastic on the stove, accused everyone of stealing her stuff, and called the cops on her last night — for absolutely nothing. Oh, and she and her boyfriend snuck in through her window with their “service” dog that left his own... signature scent behind. Critter Carnival. No exterminators. Ever. So yes, enjoy your complimentary cockroaches, wall-dwelling ants, and the occasional flea infestation (thank you, 1st yr roomie). Our garbage disposal literally died because of an ant nest inside the wall wiring. Even the technician was horrified. Air Quality & “Non-Smoking” Policy. Technically non-smoking, but apparently “smoke by your door” didn’t count. The scent of weed became part of the décor. At least the smokers were nice. High Staff Turnover & Low Accountability. The leasing agents changed faster than roommates — Either the names were Stacey and Lacey.........were kind but powerless. They tried when I made a complaint about the unauthorized dog or about the sweet 85 year old leaving the stove on or doors unlock....but their Corporate red tape galore. 💬 Final Thoughts: This place had potential — affordable, spacious, decent neighbors (for a while) — but it spiraled into chaos thanks to poor management, zero oversight, and unsafe conditions. You get what you pay for… and in this case, maybe a little more drama than you bargained for. If you value your peace, sanity, and personal safety, this isn’t the place. Unless you enjoy 3 a.m. fire alarms, fire trucks, stray chihuahuas, crazy 18 year old roommates and surprise gunfire at 1 am or 10pm — then by all means, move right in. Verdict: ✨ Started as a hidden gem… ended like a horror sequel no one asked for. ✨

You get what you pay for honestly. One of the cheapest place you'll find in the area✅ looks like it's never had a renovation, no amenities, they paint over everything (holes, cracks, peeling paint), and we had a roach and water bug problem despite keeping the place super clean and having traps. Lastly, I got my bike stolen there😅. I know plenty people who stayed here for years so it's really up to personal preference!

Constantly needing maintenance but at least they come to fix stuff in a timely manner. Not the best area and old buildings. The lease auto renews for a whole year not a month to month basis and requires a 60 day notice of cancellation... while the owner only requires 14 days notice to raise rent on you. Mine was at 56 days left and I asked to cancel and despite any efforts they refused everything. HORRIBLE lease. Screws over the tenant and they had their lawyers write them up in the owners favor.
