I went into this tour with a ton of reservations based on Google reviews. And I walk up in there and I'm like, "Listen, your reviews are trash, what's this about?" And I didn't get any sugar-coated, salesy, smoke blown my way answers. Our tour guide, Maddie - so perfect and authentic, let us know that the transition to new management (I think that happened Feb 2025 - but go fact check that) has been tough because there were some issues in the past they've had to clean up and work to gain resident trust. I told her I understood we'd see what an upgraded apartment would look like, but I didn't want to walk in in August to a mess. She said they aren't even renting anything for August that hasn't been upgraded. Do I believe in the fall he's going to walk into some swanky apartment that looks like the model room? No, but I think having hard floors in common areas and new appliances and counter tops will at least make it cleaner than the filthy on-campus residence hall he walked into this fall. Anyway, I believe all of Maddie's reassurances and feel so happy to be leaving my kid in her care. We met the office staff and the shuttle driver. They're now my favorite people! Even if my kid ends up hating this place or his roommates, he'll just hang out in the office and it'll be the best experience! Oh, also, a resident was walking in when I was leaving and I asked her if she liked living there and she said yeah.

I would not recommend living here. When I moved in, my apartment's AC was broken and remained broken for nearly two weeks during the middle of August. Temperatures were extremely uncomfortable, and it took far too long to resolve. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of the issues. My apartment also had a serious roach infestation from the day I moved in. While management eventually addressed the issue, it took over a month before the problem was actually under control. No resident should have to move into an apartment already dealing with that level of pest problem. Throughout my lease, I also dealt with multiple leaks and other maintenance concerns. To be fair, the maintenance staff themselves were always helpful, professional, and did their best to assist residents. I often felt bad for them because it seemed like there were far more maintenance issues than maintenance workers available. Many of the problems I experienced felt more like a result of the property's condition and understaffing than the fault of the maintenance team. The property advertises itself as a luxury student housing community, but the reality is very different. The apartments are clearly outdated, and it seems management is only now beginning to renovate units that have been in poor condition for years. One of the main selling points was the shuttle service to campus, but it was often unreliable and seemed to be unavailable more often than it should have been. The amenities have also been disappointing. The pool has been closed for over a year and is STILL not open, even though another summer has arrived. Residents are paying close to $1,000 per month in rent while being unable to use amenities that were heavily advertised when signing a lease. There were even periods when guests were being charged for parking, creating yet another inconvenience for residents and visitors. For the amount of money students are paying, the living conditions, maintenance response times, unreliable amenities, and ongoing property issues are unacceptable. I expected a much higher standard of living based on the property's advertising, but my experience fell far short of those expectations.

I've had a wonderful experience living here and would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place that truly feels like home. The staff is one of the biggest reasons why. Everyone in the leasing office is friendly, approachable, and genuinely cares about the residents. One thing that really stood out to me was the sense of community they create. What impressed me most, though, was a personal experience I had with one of the leasing agents. I was having an incredibly difficult day and stopped by the office feeling overwhelmed. She noticed something was wrong and took the time to talk with me, listen, and offer words of encouragement. It wasn't part of her job, but her kindness and compassion made a real difference. Beyond that, the property is well maintained, maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond. It's rare to find a community where the team truly cares about its residents, and that's exactly what you'll find here.

I went with my daughter to tour The Wilde and I was pleasantly surprised. Impressed really. I had seen the reviews before touring so I was hesitant but like other reviews have stated the community is under new management and working through issues inherited from the previous company. I was immediately greeted by the leasing agent, the model is really nice and we were informed about units being renovated for the new leasing term! I found the rates to be fair and there weren’t many additional fees that I’ve noticed other apartments have. We were happy to know parking is free as well. They explained all guests have to do is register using a QR code, which as a parent, I found highly attractive because it’s a good way to monitor who is coming and going from the community. My daughter will be hours from home so this puts us at ease a tad bit. Overall we were extremely happy with our visit. So much my daughter has decided to make this her home for the upcoming school year!!

Decent management and maintenance. Pricing was competitive. Semi clean apartments. Lived in a 3x3 and had problems with paint chipping, holes in the wall, exposed wiring, and overall poor quality. Comfortable enough if you go to State. Recommended if you’re trying to be close to Centennial.
