I moved in in September, and it’s been awful from day one. My curtain was broken on arrival and would literally fall on my head. I reported it immediately, nothing was done for months. When they finally “fixed” it in December, they entered my room unannounced while I wasn’t there, left my blinds fully open (i live on the ground floor with scaffolding and workers outside), and it still wasn’t fixed. They also carried out room inspections a few weeks ago by just walking into rooms in the morning with no warning. When I complained, they claimed they’d emailed everyone, but no one in my flat received anything. The scaffolding that was supposed to be there for 1–2 months are still up 6 months later, with constant noise. Workers shout, sing, and even knocked on my window at 8am for no reason. Our kitchen had a disgusting stained carpet when we moved in. Management refused to replace it, saying they’d have to “evacuate the whole building,” which is ridiculous. We ended up rolling it up and dumping it in the corner ourselves. There have been repeated water shortages and no heating for long periods, including a full week in February where we were freezing. Complaints and emails are ignored. I paid for biweekly cleans, they didn’t happen for months. Breakfast that was promised? Never happened. Reception is useless after 5pm, security is unhelpful, and I had to argue for 25 minutes just to get my own package. Emergency lines don’t work. Laundry machines are constantly broken. Overall, this place is badly run, unresponsive, and completely fails to deliver what it promises. Avoid it.

While the staff is lovely, unfortunately the upper management of the accommodation does not live up to the standard. There is ongoing construction at unreasonable hours, scaffolding everywhere blocking the windows, barely any cleaners, and very poor hygiene in the common areas. I found eggshells on the stairs and saw them there every day for three weeks, which suggests the area is rarely cleaned. When I first moved into the accommodation, the kitchen appliances had not been cleaned and were clearly left over from the previous year’s use. There are constant maintenance issues like false fire alarms and water not working. There were also many empty promises, including free breakfast and kitchen cleaning. While I understand that this is a new accommodation, the website should not be falsely advertising services. Moreover, saying that there are “external improvement works in progress” does not provide enough information. There is major scaffolding directly in front of the windows in my kitchen, blocking natural light, and this was not mentioned before I booked the room. Construction work was carried out and dust spread into my kitchen, yet I was the one who had to clean up the mess afterwards. It is presented as a “luxury accommodation" which is misleading. You cannot charge premium prices for such mediocre services. It is a scam. The company seems to be taking advantage of students who may be too intimidated to speak up for their rights. Do not choose this accommodation.

This accommodation is full of maintenance, they keep cutting the water every while for pipes issues, the whole surrounding of the accommodation is full of workers doing works in the accommodation since the very early morning, 8am. You can’t sleep well because of them, sometimes you are in a rush to go to uni and you find out there is no water in the bathroom. Many of the features you read on their website is a lie. There is no breakfast, there is no weakly kitchen cleaner, there is no playstation, there are many excuses for different services. Accommodation full of construction and workers in and out. For future students if you planning to book here, i advise you to find better options.

Staff who actually work here are SO SO lovely and they’ve all tried their best to keep things together considering what has been going on. If I’m totally honest please save your money and find somewhere else for your student accommodation unless you’d like to pay at a minimum £270 per week for constant construction noises starting at 8am, no hot water/water at all, promises made to students that are never met or don’t happen and an absolute lack of care from the landlord whatsoever about these issues. (Not to even mention the recent break in where students packages were stolen and items were stolen from the security office which that landlord has decided to do nothing about). Like other students have said in their reviews, please do not consider this place for your future student accommodation, you’ll be more likely to find a lot better for a way cheaper price, with better treatment and more safety.

if i had to explain this place best it would be mediocre with lots of missed potential Lots of promises and not much delivered, i’ve been here since last year when they first opened and although there were many issues at first that was understandable however this place is still clearly under construction, for over a year now we have been getting told that everything’s about to finish up that there would be no more construction drilling or scaffolding yet it still persists month after month. you can expect to hear loud drilling every morning, with workers loudly laughing shouting or singing. on top of that there are regular maintenance issues with water commonly being in shortage and thus heating systems not working. there are also many advertised promises which are simply have simply not been fulfilled, free breakfasts was promised however rarely does that ever come about, security being around 24/7 which is not true there are staff from 9-5pm then security from 10-3, these security and staff times have changed drastically over the year and a half i’ve been here either way it has always been a inconvenience, packages and deliveries need to be signed and handed to you by staff and security is unable to do that. if your package arrives after 5 or you are unable to pick it up before then, then you would have to wait the next day, it is also common for staff to not come at all on some days this is a issue which has greatly inconvenienced a lot of people there was advertised bi weekly kitchen cleans however in the past 7 months that has only happened twice, when i ask why that is they always say they are getting new people in and yet it never happens overall the only saving grace for this accommodation is the staff who are always understanding and friendly. they do what they can with the time and resources they have however the landlord and management have clearly not put in much effort to support those people nor fulfill their promises for this accommodation if you have the money i would strongly suggest you look for another place, the only reason i stayed another year was because i thought things were going to be better.
