Starting from lounge, it has a fantastic pool table. The kitchen is well equipped as well, gym is quite nice with the bluetooth speaker. The rooms are clean and spacious as well. Even though the roommates and people that I met are messy and dirty, i still love this accommodation as my main residence. I would recommend it as the ensuites start from around £220 which i use.

Great place, brand spanking new Lovely media room great for films, vendings machines for emergency snacks and a coffee machine. Rooms themselves are decent. Our room has good space and a decent view with nice furniture. The dining chairs are a bit cheap though. Showers great and the hob and oven let you do everything you need. Shame there's no dishwasher though Washing on site Study room is very large and has lots of different rooms to it Although there have certainly been a few teething problems, the building manager has been very communicative and problems have been sorted fairly quick

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great stay – amazing amenities and friendly vibe! I had a really great experience staying at aparto. The accommodation has a very comfortable and modern feel, and the overall vibe is super friendly and welcoming. The amenities are excellent — everything is well-maintained, clean, and designed to make student life easy and enjoyable. The common areas are great for relaxing and socialising, and it’s also a nice environment for studying when you need focus. The staff are supportive and professional, and the building always feels safe and well-managed. Overall, aparto offers a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and community, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality student accommodation.

The quality of the facilities and rooms are probably the best in Bristol for the price. The location is the biggest downside, which will be especially important to residents who are in their first year of uni/moving in alone. The quality of the rooms and amenities are fantastic. Every single visitor I've had always remarked how it looks like a hotel. Everything is new and very well maintained, and the rooftop terrace is a really nice addition. The management team are also very friendly and helpful and there is always someone available at the reception if you need help. They have done extraordinary things that no other flat would typically do for residents in addressing complaints. They are quick to respond to issues and are understanding. They also host a lot of activities for residents. Jarryd (the manager) goes the extra mile to ensure residents are satisfied. Even before booking he was exceptionally informative and patiently answered all my questions, even giving a real time tour of the flat over video. Location is inconvenient as there is absolutely nothing nearby, nearest shopping area/grocery store is 20 minutes away, and the bus station is 10 minutes away. It is a struggle to go to and fro anywhere when it rains (which it does alot). The area nearby is a financial district, so it is very quiet and empty at night and weekends. Some may find this unsettling, but it is still a safe area and I find it peaceful. The location is very far from where your uni friends will stay and this may feel extremely isolating overtime. Do not underestimate how important location will be especially if you are in the first year of uni. There are some issues with random fire alarms and hot water outages but they have gotten better overtime. Many of the residents here are older/postgraduates. As a young woman, you will likely share kitchens with grown adult men. Most are harmless but you might sometimes feel uncomfortable. If they do not outrightly make advances on you (which I have heard has happened to multiple female residents), they might sometimes unintentionally cross your boundaries in an attempt to get 'friendly' with you (knock on your door, ask you to join them for meals or to cook, etc). This is not a fault of the flat or management. I highly doubt this is an issue with Brigg Point alone and more of a byproduct of living in a non uni-provided dorm as those usually prioritise accommodating freshman/undergrads. This issue will probably get better overtime as the area nearby becomes more developed and more people know about the dorm. But since they are older, the shared flat spaces are usually cleaner than that of a uni-provided dorm (personal observation). In my opinion, the price & quality of the rooms and amenities make up for all the other faults. That is what the 4 stars are for. But if you are a first year student or are living alone/abroad for the first time (esp as a female), I would advise to spend time thinking about whether you are willing to trade convenience & social interaction for luxury.

FAQs

As part of securing your student accommodation at Brigg Point, we typically ask every customer opting to pay their rent in instalments to nominate a guarantor. A guarantor is someone who takes on the financial responsibility if you're unable to make payments on time. To be accepted, a guarantor must generally be over 18, not a student, and in full-time employment (either a homeowner or renting accommodation). We do accept international guarantors to support our diverse student community. Your guarantor will be required to provide a copy of their ID as well as a proof address document (Utility Bill / Bank Statement), both of which need to be translated into in English if not already.
