I think this is a great place to stay! I have lived in a few different student accommodations over the years in parts of the country and this is by far the best value for money. I think the staff do an excellent job at trying to help everyone feel supported and at home. The rooms are not always perfect, but the maintenance team are great and resolve issues very quickly. The app is very convenient for talking to flatmates and reporting problems.

This was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. The maintenance was extremely poor—truly unacceptable. Some of the issues I reported from the very beginning were never fixed. Instead, I was told that it would be too expensive to resolve them. These unresolved problems caused me continuous discomfort throughout my stay. The fire alarm was constantly going off at random times. I was woken up at 4:30 AM and even at 12:30 AM because of it. I genuinely don’t understand how the system is set up. My stay here was filled with noise and constant stress. The area where the rubbish bins are located is infested with very large rats. At night, it honestly feels like something out of a horror movie. There were several times I tried to take out the rubbish at night but had to turn back out of fear. There wasn’t just one rat—there were many. It was truly disturbing. The reception, which is advertised as 24/7, is not actually available all the time. On several occasions when I needed assistance, including collecting parcels, there was no one there. When I called, I was told someone would come in one or two hours. This is clearly not a 24-hour service as advertised. Finally, the location is extremely noisy. Before moving here, I had no knowledge of the area and assumed that being in the city centre would be convenient. However, the building is located right next to a major highway. The sound of traffic never stops. Even on the ninth floor, with the windows closed, you can constantly hear cars, as well as ambulance, fire brigade, and police sirens 24/7. Overall, this has been the worst living experience I have ever had. Over time, it seriously affected my mental well-being. A place where you live should be a place of peace and comfort—but unfortunately, peace was the one thing I never had here.

I’ve had a overall positive experience living here. The accommodation is in a convenient location with easy access to campus and shops. The rooms are comfortable and the shared spaces are clean. Maintenance requests are handled quickly when reported which using the Unite app makes everything easier to communicate.
:/
Best inner city student accom if you have cash spare but don't wanna splash out on the Tower. Studios are perfect with big windows and lots of storage space. Staff are lovely and overnight security really helps to feel safe when starting out in a city you don't know. Far more secure than the other accommodations I've visited. That said, WiFi tends to drop out intermittently and there have been consistent hot water issues all year. Hope you like cold showers!

Terrible, extremely overpriced building. “Premium” rooms are a scam and do not offer any more space. Facilities do not work. Maintenance requests take ages to complete if they complete them at all. Hot water does not work the majority of the time and the fire alarm goes off all but every day. Staff are somewhat helpful and friendly and the location is great, however this does not make up for the price.
