MVM manages to be overbearing yet borderline neglectful at the same time. The unit above ours had a severe leak in September, and we were left without a ceiling in our bathroom until January. They charged the owner of our unit for repairs despite the fact that the damage was entirely the fault of the upstairs unit. Trying to get anything done with them feels like pulling teeth. On several occasions during the months without a ceiling, I called into their office and got hung up on halfway through my initial sentence. Even though I reached out through emails and phone calls, they never corresponded with me directly, but reached out to my (much busier) roommate instead. The cleaning check ladies are inconsiderate of your time and incredibly inconsistent on their guidelines. We were failed and told they would return on a specific date during the week leading up to finals (with no time frame) and they failed to return on the written date. Every minor interaction with this management company drags out. There is a severe lack of efficiency, follow-through, and professionalism. Some of the people I have interacted with were pleasant, but that does not balance out the many less-than-pleasant people and interactions that this company has subjected me to.

Mountain View management was extremely difficult to work with. When we moved in, the apartment was in poor condition despite being charged a cleaning fee beforehand--no cleaning was done and no one ever showed up. Throughout our tenancy, management was consistently unresponsive to maintenance and work order requests. Before moving out, we thoroughly deep-cleaned the apartment, yet we were still charged another cleaning fee. Given our experience, I'm confident no cleaning service was actually sent.

Mvm management is awful and unprofessional! I live below a unit they manage in an apartment complex and their unit flooded water into mine and caused thousands of dollars of damage to my apartment. When I tried to get in touch with them to work on mitigation and fixing the leak they were dodgy, dishonest, and unprofessional. After weeks of nagging them to work with me on the problem they decided it wasn’t worth their time or money to fix the problem their lack of maintenance caused to my unit. Dan Bishop was especially rude over the phone and email correspondence.

MVM saved me from awful apartment management in Provo. They are quick to respond to maintenance requests and so easy to work with when transferring contracts. They only do one cleaning check a quarter, and everyone you interact with is incredibly kind! Can’t recommend more!

Absolutely terrible management—zero stars if possible. This company is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. They moved someone into my apartment with barely any notice, and from that point on, everything went downhill fast. The new roommate turned out to be a hoarder who took over 90% of the space, constantly had men over, and most disturbingly, became threatening toward me and my other roommate. We no longer felt safe in our own home. Despite repeatedly reaching out to management for help, we were dismissed, blamed, and told we were the problem for wanting a peaceful and secure living space. Their responses were consistently unprofessional, rude, and completely lacking in basic empathy or responsibility. They never took any meaningful action to resolve the situation. This company failed to protect its tenants, ignored serious safety concerns, and enabled a toxic and unsafe living environment. Do not rent from them under any circumstances.
