If I could rate this place zero stars I absolutely would. The only positive I have for this place is that most of the staff is nice. My main issue with this horrible excuse for an apartment complex is that they have been basically scamming money from me for 9 months. I graduated in May 2025 and had renewed my lease because I was planning on staying in San Marcos for a master’s program however due to unexpected family circumstances I had to move back to my hometown, which is 4 hours away. When I talk the complex about this they said that I was responsible for either getting someone to sublease my unit or I would have to pay off the remaining months on the lease in order to break it. I let them know that I was moving out before my original lease was even officially over, but somehow I was expected to pay for the remaining months on the renew as well UPFRONT (which would have totaled over $11,000). The person working the front desk at the time said the best they could do for me is to add me to their internal sublet list which they did. What they failed to tell me is that if I had turned in my keys to them I wouldn’t have to pay for things like utilities or the insurance fees. I would have any had to pay my base rent. The only reason I even found out about this policy they had is because I got a violation fee to my unit because of my roommates and I called and explained my situation to the very nice girl that answered the phone for me and she told me about this policy. So 9 months after I moved out I find out that this entire time they have been taking money unnecessarily money from me just to fill their pockets. In the time since I moved out I have come to stay in my unit for a weekend three times, since I was paying anyways but if I had be INFORMED of this policy I would have turned in my keys in JUNE WHEN I MOVED ALL MY STUFF OUT. I would never recommend living here EVER and I wish I never did because The Lyndon is only interested in filling their own pockets and have ZERO interest is helping the college students they cater themselves to.

Living at this apartment has been so convenient and amazing! Campus isn’t too far from here and I love the amenities The Lyndon has to offer. HEB is just a street away, EVO is right next door, and there’s so many food options to choose from just downstairs. Maintenance and staff have always been kind and helpful as well. I will for sure miss this place once I graduate!

This is the worst possible place to live. But if you like the smell of dog poop and trash the entire time this is a great place to be. The pool is majority of the time disgusting and green. The dog park is full of poop at all times unless you are touring the place because that’s the only time they keep it nice. The workers are never helpful and if you your fob doesn’t work on the weekends you better get a hotel because no one is going to help you because no workers or security are there. Trash just lines the entire property and you can barely make it into the gate because of the dumpsters. If you put in a maintenance request I hope it isn’t important because they will not show up for weeks. If you could live anywhere else, please do that because this is the worst ran place I have ever experienced. They never have the elevators, hallways ceilings, NOTHING clean. The trash rooms are always over flowing. The elevators are never in order so if you live on the top floor, good luck. I have never seen a more disgusting place in my life. Don’t let their tours and pictures online fool you, they only clean on parent weekends and to tour people through the property. Edit: Saw the reply to my review, not sure where you think these photos were taken but they are clearly on your property. Also, I didn’t take the stairs for fun, the elevators were out of order way more times than once. The trash is clearly, from my pictures, not taken out often as they were overflowing all the time. You should be embarrassed by your reply and take accountability on the horrible way your place is ran. Nice try, but the pictures speak for themselves. Have a great day.

I wouldn’t sign here if I were you. The property is super cheap and disgusting. Everything breaks and the maintenance team changes so often, you’re better off fixing your request yourself. The property isn’t kept up with. They post pictures from before the Lyndon opened to fool people to sign. The property manager Camille, is very unprofessional. Disagree with her and expect her to degrade you, hang up on you, or call the cops. Overall, don’t sign here. They lie about everything just to take your money. Take your $900+ a month and sign somewhere else. Also here are some pictures of what the property REALLY looks like, versus what they post online or show you during a tour

This apartment complex gets away with so many things that they should be getting away with. I first moved in so excited because when I toured the place it was so clean and nice. Lie. As soon as I moved in the smell of terrible rotting garbage and dog poop was everywhere. And didn’t stop until I moved out. The dog park was infested with poop that other owners never picked up and left the poor maintenance people to clean up and my dog actually got an eye infection from it and cost me $500 that I didn’t have to get him care and antibiotics. Their solution to everything is hit people with fees but some people that live here have no regard for money or respect that they simply don’t care. Speaking of fees. I got locked out of my apartment one night and my roommates weren’t gonna be home until later so I called the emergency maintenance number and they said it would be $100 for them to come up and unlock my door. I said haha no thank you and sat on the hallway floor for and hour while I waited for my Roomate to get home. I was so eager to get out of there that I decided that paying double rent at a new apartment and the Lyndon was worth it so I didn’t have to spend another day there. Another thing is I knew that I was getting sick too often and my room always felt humid and gross. Turns out it was mold toxicity. I didn’t come back until a week before official move out to deep clean my apartment and as soon as I opened the door I saw mold all around my air vent. Oh there was also a leak in our ceiling in the living room so whenever it rained outside, it also rained inside. Maintenance came in and spackled it and painted. Couple months later after a heavy rainstorm is leaked again. Floor boards are lifting up. I really DONT recommend this place. I will only say that some of the staff was nice. Save yourself a massive headache and sign somewhere else.
