Glenlock Apartments, morgantown-wv

PROS: Cheap and conveniently placed just a brisk walk away from the main downtown WVU campus! Location is wonderful with Sheetz, summit and a gym within a block of the complex. All utilities were included which is very much appreciated. - The interior is clean and the view is nice if you're lucky enough to get an apartment by University Ave. - Real estate management staff are very friendly and helpful and service orders are covered swiftly. - Heating works quickly and consistently. - Consistent snow plowing of parking lot and a free parking pass with the apt. - The dishwasher looks slightly dated, but it easily rivals many of it's contemporaries in quality. - Cheapest apartment close to downtown - honestly unbeatable in it's price/quality ratio. Cons: - Small tear in carpet. (Minor). - Bed frame was initially missing (but was quickly replaced). (Minor) - Interior chairs are a bit lackluster in build quality. (Minor) - Gym is in next door apt. (Minor) - Getting maintenance's attention can be a hassle if something unexpected goes wrong. To Know: Try to get a room close to the balconies, you'll get more sunlight that way. The exterior hallways look like the interior of Bowser's Castle, which can be a turn off to some, but after making the comparison I started to like it. The interior design is unique. The kitchen is in the hallway, which can make entertaining a bit more difficult, however it prevents sound from blaring into the bedrooms, a big plus.

I lived at Glenlock for 2 years and it was the perfect place to live, I honestly couldn't recommend this place/company any more. The location is amazing - right in the heart of Sunnyside. The WVU downtown campus is a 5 min. walk, High St. and the nightlife scene takes about 10, Milan Puskar Stadium is a 15 min walk, I mean, it couldn't be better. The apartment itself is great. You've got updated appliances, a washer/dryer inside your unit and best of all, all utilities are included! For the price, you honestly can't beat that in Morgantown. The maintenance team is outstanding. They're incredibly prompt in getting your issues fixed, and all the folks are super kind.
