My experience with leasing at Canvas was honestly really frustrating. My family, my future roommate, and I spent around two weeks in April working through everything needed to finalize signing for a 2-bedroom townhouse. We toured multiple times, completed the pre-information they requested, communicated consistently with staff, and were told that taking a little extra time to move around finances would be okay. On a Friday, we were told we had until Monday at 5 PM to sign the leases. My roommate signed Sunday, and I signed Monday morning within the timeframe we were given. While I was actively signing, Canvas called my roommate and told her they had already given away the last available 2-bedroom townhouse to someone else. This was incredibly upsetting not only emotionally, but financially. Hard credit checks had already been run on us, money had been moved around to make this work, and we genuinely believed the unit was being held based on the deadline they provided us. Had we been told the unit was still actively being offered to others before the deadline expired, we would have handled things very differently. We ultimately still signed because there weren’t many remaining housing options this late in the process, but now we are being placed with a random roommate situation that we originally worked very hard to avoid. I’m hoping the actual living experience is better than the leasing process, but I do think future residents deserve clearer communication and more transparency during signing.

We had a great experience touring with Emily! She was super easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and made the whole process feel really comfortable. She answered all my questions, was really patient with us, and pointed out details we wouldn’t have noticed on our own. Overall, she made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Definitely recommend working with her!

I am a single parent of a teenager. We have lived at Canvas for 2 years now. We really enjoy living here. Our townhouse is so spacious. We love having our own individual wall length closets and bathrooms. The bathroom off of the kitchen is so convenient. Anytime I submit a maintenance request it is solved that day or within 2-3 days if they needed to order a part. The management staff has always been great with communication and responses. They are always willing to develop solutions if we faced challenges. We love the game room/kitchenette area in the office. The gym is AWESOME especially compared to other apartment complex gyms. A bonus - The sunrises/sunsets are unmatched here. Considering the internet is included, and the water and electric is through Canvas’ own utility service, it makes paying for both so easy in the resident portal. The price we pay for rent with the extra amenities is a great deal. They also take good care of the parking lot and sidewalks!

This place is amazing! The rooms are huge! The townhomes are really pretty, with great views too! It’s a great place to live because it’s quiet, it’s also been a great place to meet new people. The office is great at checking on you to make sure you’re doing well. Maintenance has also been great anytime I’ve needed them, they usually take less than a day to fix whatever is messed up.

Emily was a great tour guide! She showed us around both 4br/4ba floor plans and told us about all the amenities offered. She was ready to answer all our questions, had a great experience overall.
