I had a great experience during my property tour. The staff was very helpful, respectful, and took the time to answer all of my questions. They made the whole process feel comfortable and welcoming, and I really appreciated their professionalism. The tour was informative and gave me a great impression of the property. Overall, it was a very positive experience! I had a wonderful experience touring the property with Derrix. He was extremely helpful, respectful, and very professional throughout the entire tour. Derrix took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood everything about the property. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel comfortable and welcoming. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people and making sure they have a great experience. I truly appreciate his kindness and the effort he put into showing me around.

I have had a really amazing experience here at Lexington Crossing! I moved in late September, during the 1 month waived special which helped out so much because I still had to pay rent with my old apartments! So far my experience has been amazing with the staff, everyone is so sweet and way more empathetic than most other apartments I have stayed at. They genuinely care about you here and work with you on matters like paying rent a little delayed. Rent is due no later than the 3rd or else you occur a late fee, one week my job didn’t pay me my full paycheck, when I explained this to Derrix, he worked with me because I was communicating with him the whole time, which I needed up paying in full by the 10th but he also did me a solid and let me know I can use my one time late fee waiver! As for the actual apartment, it came exactly like it showed in the model, and was perfect!!! I was super happy with the condition of everything. I did have maintenance come in for the first time the other month for my toilet and they came within 48 hours! Keith and Ben were super sweet and cool people and they are just awesome! Dajah the property manager is also just so sweet, my mom used to be a property manager of student housing like Ms. Dajah and she definitely gives me the vibes of my mom when she did this. Dajah is very caring and it feels like talking to a parent. She always try’s to be available for her residents within her capabilities and I feel like she always ends up doing more! There was a time that my cat had gotten out and she was sweet enough to email the community about my lil fur baby, I did end up finding him later that day but the fact that she cared enough made me so grateful. Overall, great experience with the staff, maintenance, quality of the apartment, price, and just general vibes (as the actual community is GORGEOUS and so amazing to walk around).

Living at Lexington Crossing Apartments has been a great experience overall. There have been a few random situations where I really got to see how well things are handled here. for example, one time I had an issue with my AC acting up, and maintenance showed up way faster than I expected and fixed it without any stress. Another time I locked myself out, which could’ve been a whole situation, but the office staff made it super easy to resolve. They stayed calm, helped me out quickly, and didn’t make it feel like a big deal at all. I also want to give credit to Bri and Derrix they’ve both been really cool and easy to talk to. Anytime I’ve interacted with them, they’ve been helpful and respectful, which honestly makes a big difference in how you feel living somewhere. The community itself is chill, clean, and well-kept. I’ve never had issues with neighbors or noise, and everything just feels consistent and taken care of. Overall, it’s been a smooth experience, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed living here.

As a current resident at Lexington, I can honestly say my experience has been nothing but wonderful. From day one, the staff has been friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever I’ve needed anything. Maintenance requests were handled quickly and professionally, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day living. One thing I really appreciate is the overall atmosphere here, it’s peaceful, well-maintained, and feels like a community. I’ve never had any issues with other residents, and everyone seems respectful and easygoing. It makes coming home feel comfortable and stress-free. The management team does a great job staying on top of things and making sure residents are taken care of. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, they’ve been more than willing to help without any hassle.

Just wanted other parents to be aware of what we have experienced at this complex for the past two years so that you can know the failures and lack of accountability of this apartment complex. When my daughter moved in in August of 2024, it was her first time away from home (4 hours away). As she didn’t know anyone in Gainesville yet, she took a survey to be ‘matched’ with other tenants. Two of those roommates were actually married so she had to live with random men she did not know, despite putting that she was only interested in living with females. Her apartment flooded due to a toilet leak at the valve, and had to subsequently dry out her items and dispose of several items that were damaged. Summer of 2025 she chose to come home so that she would not have to deal with the roommate situation and living with 5 other people instead of the agreed upon 3, and the complex agreed to let her choose her roommates to re-sign for fall of 2025. The complex decided they were going to do renovations in her apartment so she had to move all of her belongings to a temporary unit. She moved her items then drove 4 hours home. Not even 24 hours after coming home, she gets a text that the temporary unit she just moved her items to has flooded and her items that she had boxed in her room were soaked and pictures showed maintenance went in and moved her items to the living room (making all of her belongings available to whoever wanted to go through them). She then had to make an 8 hour roundtrip visit to go through her items and assess damage. Then, we moved her into the new unit once the lease changed over, with her new roommates in fall of 2025. When we tried to open the door, the keys had been changed without informing her and we had to chase down someone to let us into her unit. We got her setup and then went to visit family in South Florida before coming back so she could settle in. Upon arrival, her bedroom door was unlocked, despite us having locked it when we left. Items in her room had been moved. When we brought this to the attention of the complex and demanded answers, it was explained that the room beside hers had a toilet leak (apparently plumbing is NOT their strong suit here!) so they had to ‘check her room’. We decided to install cameras for the safety of my child as I had growing concerns for her. 2 weeks ago, my daughter reached out to me very upset because the complex decided to remodel her unit. Keep in mind we decided she will move to an entirely new place when her lease runs out (AND all of her roommates are NOT resigning because of additional issues including a termite infestation in one of the roommates rooms - which as far as I know was resolved). They tore up the kitchen and took out her vanity in her bathroom leaving her without means to brush her teeth. Their resolution was for her to ‘come to the office’ to brush them. Not to mention 5 men in her apartment while she is a female alone does NOT make me feel safe for her at all. When I called to complain and ask how they can disrupt someones schedule the office staff claimed they ‘informed them of renovations and it will only be a week’. Our concern was that a list of said renovations or a timeline were supplied to ensure she could work around her summer classes and studying with as minimal disruption as possible. Furthermore, she received notice that the renovations have been extended to July 10th. With NO type of rent credit for allowing them to impede on enjoyment of her own space. She had enough and came home this weekend to get some rest and not worry about the chaos and moved several items so that nothing went ‘missing’ or was damaged. She arrived back to the complex today to find the workers left her lights on. This is absolutely disgusting and outrageous behavior of a complex to treat tenants like this. The communication, treatment, and blatant disregard of their tenants right to privacy and use of their units is just shocking and I am unsure how they are able to get away with this.
