Absolutely ridiculous management. DO NOT rent any apartments with this sick management. I had the final settlement check emailed to me by the management as they claimed, which was never received even after 2 months. On reaching out, they have the audacity to say I am liable to $36 fine because the check never reached me and they would deduct the $36 for no reason. The management is not ready to provide with a USPS tracking number of the check too and claims I will have to pay the $36 fine from my pocket. Absolutely ridiculous logic and the worst management ever.

Been living here for a few years and was lazy to move around. The laundry facilities were always in problem and they never tried to fix it. Always had to redo it and doesn’t work. While they raise the rent each year they don’t care about facilities. Only advantage is convenience location. Otherwise it’s bad.

**Review for Hunter Bloomington Properties - Apartment G-25, 1610 S Dorchester Dr** Living in Apartment G-25 was nothing short of a nightmare. From day one, I was greeted with an overwhelming stench, stemming from the inappropriately placed massive common trash bin just a few feet from my windows and AC unit. The persistent odor in the hallway was a testament to the disregard for residents' well-being. The problems did not stop there. The on-premises washer/dryer repeatedly failed, forcing me to rerun cycles multiple times and drain my pockets with the constant need for quarters. A serious leak from under my sink, linked to the water heater, presented safety concerns and was addressed with a superficial repair that later proved to be inadequate. A bathroom wall that burgeoned and eventually burst, revealing a water issue from the upstairs unit, was only attended to after weeks, during which time I shared my space with a stray black cat that took up residence in the cavity. The zenith of my grievances centers around the alarming discovery of pervasive mold in my apartment. My health deteriorated, and it was shocking to unearth mold in places where prior "repairs" had been conducted - under the sink and near the previously leaking bathtub wall. Whether these mold hotspots were ignored intentionally or due to sheer negligence is beyond me. Adding insult to injury, Hunter Bloomington Properties placed the blame squarely on my shoulders, alleging I didn't run the A/C during the summer. This baseless claim does not align with the extent and obvious long-term growth of mold that I've witnessed in the apartment. Throughout this ordeal, I received no assistance or acknowledgment from the property management. I urge potential renters to think twice before leasing with Hunter Bloomington Properties. The hazardous conditions, paired with an unsympathetic and inept response to grave concerns, made my tenure at this residence a deeply regrettable experience.

Lived at Hunter Ridge for 10 years. The last 1-2 years were absolutely horrible! We called the cops multiple times for neighbors who would not be quiet… EVER! Management did nothing about our continued noise complaints. When we left, they said we owed them after they kept all of our security deposit and marked us for things that when we moved in we were told to keep/it wouldn’t be a problem. Management is TERRIBLE; they don’t listen to concerns/complaints and are extremely rude and unprofessional. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

This place is a very conveniently located apartment perfect for people who do not have cars. It is close to the mall, restaurants and the bus stop is right across the street. The apartment is spacious and though some think that this place needs an update, I thought it was totally okay (I lived for a year. I would have lived longer if I could). Friendly staff too. I would live here again if I were to come back to Bloomington.
