Terrace View, blacksburg-va

You could not pay me to live here again. It will never be clean no matter how much you try to clean it, huge bugs crawl out of the walls all the time, its extremely outdated and dingy, and its somehow $900 a month... There is little natural light outside of the bedrooms so it gets super creepy at night. None of the bedrooms are the same size or proximity to bathrooms, so someone is always screwed over. Our unit came filthy when we moved in. The leasing staff act like children and will ignore your calls if you bring up an issue (they blocked our mail and stopped answering when we called to fix it). IMO, you're far better off spending a bit more money to live somewhere better. Or, just rent a house atp - cheaper and better than living here. This place is not worth your time, money, or emotional effort. Also, many of their good reviews are prompted by giveaways posted on their instagram. Don't believe me: go search it up. I'm certain you'll see a "leave a google review, enter to win $50" post. (they're done monthly)

Lived here my sophomore year and renewed for my junior year. I love it here and it definitely feels like home! The location is convenient as multiple busses to campus pass through, the maintenance staff is super helpful and always nice, and the pool is great. They are also super pet friendly, I highly recommend terrace view!

WOOOWEE, talk about professionalism. The office staff actually care about the students living here. My Wi-Fi went out while living here and their response to my email of concern was insightful and helpful. I didn't realize that the property does not control our internet access, but I was informed of this with an email that wasn't condescending at all. In today;s world where people are on there devices and not social, living at Terrace View has really helped me find a place in the community. As a tech student and former renter, I have not lived at a property with more events or since of community. The apartments are affordable, and the maintenance staff helped in a timely manner whenever I needed to put in a work order. I had to call emergency maintenance number one day over the weekend and they actually helped how nice it is for them to help during their day off. Will recommend for any looking for a place to live in Bburg.

I took a tour here and had the best experience with out leasing consultant, Lilly! She was so kind and answered every question we could think of with (trust me it was obnoxious) patience and grace. Their pool deck looks AMAZING and their gym looked pretty new and well cared for. We're especially excited about the dog parks so our fur baby can get some exercise in.

I love my apartment! Me and our roommates absolutely love our chalk wall and how the apartment comes fully furnished. The maintenance team is also great and responds very quickly to maintenance requests.
