Brexx is amazing! The grounds are beautiful and always super clean and well maintained. The property manager Candee is the best and always helps with anything. The rest of her staff is great too! The amenities are the best in town. Especially the pool! The best part is how close to campus and everything else it is. I highly recommend this community for anyone who's a student at VT!

What a fantastic spot! Our oldest called this place home while wrapping up his studies at Tech, and he never faced a single issue—be it maintenance or even just a quick inquiry for the front desk. We've had a bunch of questions about the neighborhood and the complex, and Candee at the office truly exceeded our expectations with her assistance. She is such a lovely and professional individual! If you're on the hunt for a safe, welcoming place for your future student, you should definitely take a look here!

I can’t say enough great things about The Retreat at Blacksburg! My daughter lived there while going to college and absolutely loved her experience! The community is beautiful, especially the pool area—it truly feels like a resort and is such a great place to relax and spend time with friends. The gym was amazing and she loved being able to work out on her own schedule. The gym was always kept clean and there was never a wait for the equipment. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and Candee always willing to go the extra mile. From move-in to everyday living, they made everything easy and welcoming. The atmosphere is safe, well-maintained, and perfect for students. If you’re looking for a place in Blacksburg that combines comfort, convenience, and a great community, I highly recommend The Retreat!

Had a lovely time exploring the property in preparation for my son Tony attending VA Tech this fall, great conversations with the employees and the property manager Candee was such a big help! Will definitely be making this property our first choice! Go Hokies!

Had a tour of this place and gotta say it was pretty nice! Austin was very helpful with showing me everything and explaining how everything works there. Everything looked great and was in good condition. Will hopefully be there before the next semester begins. 10/10 highly recommend!
