I’ve only recently begun staying at The Bank; however, my experience so far has been nothing but positive. The room is incredibly spacious, making it a great area to host friends without feeling cramped. I love how modern the building is, and I especially adore the bean bag chair that came with the room, which has quickly become my go-to reading chair — a small but thoughtful detail I’ve really enjoyed. There is also an impressive amount of storage for my belongings; in fact, I’ve had to spread some of my things out to fill the shelves. Being located on the high street, I was initially concerned about noise, particularly as it’s opposite Standing Order, but this hasn’t been an issue. The noise has been minimal, and once the window is closed, most of the sound is blocked out. Overall, my experience at The Bank has been highly positive, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

My daughter stayed here during her first year and we were very impressed. The building is secure, clean and well managed. The team on reception (especially Kelly) were always approachable and helpful which gave us real peace of mind.

Loved living at The Bank!! The rooms are sooo nice (actually bigger than I expected) and having my own bathroom + kitchen made such a difference. Also the common room is really cute and good for meeting people.

I deeply regret choosing this accommodation. Since January, scaffolding has completely blocked my floor-to-ceiling sea view — one of the main reasons I booked this room. In the summer, the situation became worse: the room was extremely hot, but I couldn’t open the window or curtains because workers were constantly outside. Noise from drilling, loud conversations, and music made it nearly impossible to study or rest. I raised several complaints about the blocked view, unbearable noise, and lack of ventilation — but management never gave a proper response. In winter, there was also a full week without hot water. Again, no compensation or clear reply. For £1,216/month, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place to any students.

Nice place to live, pretty calm compared to other student buildings. Rooms are a good size and get a lot of light. Location is really convenient for shops and getting around the city.
