I recently visited and spent some time at Canopy at South Lakes, and I was really impressed with the overall atmosphere of the community. It feels clean, well-kept, and very welcoming. What stood out the most was the staff and management team. Everyone was friendly and professional, and you can tell they genuinely care about the residents. A special mention to Assistant Manager Jasmine and Devine—they were extremely helpful, patient, and approachable. They took the time to answer questions and made the experience smooth and comfortable. It’s not easy to find a place where the management is this supportive and attentive. Based on what I saw, this is definitely a community that values its residents. Would highly recommend checking this place out!

Came by for a tour and had an amazing experience as a prospective resident. The office team was incredibly welcoming, took the time to answer all my questions about leasing, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. I’ve had an amazing experience living at Canopy at South Lake Apartments and honestly still enjoy being here. Everything has been smooth since I moved in, and I haven’t had any major problems. The only issue I’ve noticed occasionally is dog poop in some areas, but it’s not constant and seems to get taken care of. The management team is great, very friendly, professional, and always willing to help whenever something comes up. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents. Maintenance is also amazing. They’re hardworking, quick to respond, and always make sure things are taken care of properly. The property is well maintained, and it’s clear the staff puts a lot of effort into keeping the community in good shape. Overall, I’m really happy living here and would definitely recommend Canopy at South Lake to anyone looking for a comfortable place with great management and maintenance.

This place is terrible! It is infested with roaches. They're everywhere! You cannot enjoy a relaxing stroll around the property without being inundated by the smell of weed. My friend has lived here now for over 3 years and the security gate has never worked! I have never visited and not been greeted by icky green pool water. In some areas, the complex is in disrepair and falling apart. Management isn't responsive to feedback and requests for improvements within the community.

Previous owners were very neglectful, but lots of great improvements are being made to the property. However, this is a very POT FRIENDLY property. If you do not enjoy the almost constant odor, or breathing it in causes headaches or other negative impacts on your health, this isn't the property for you.
