I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel like I should share this for future tenants. The refrigerator in my unit makes a very loud mechanical noise that turns on repeatedly, it happens every minute,especially late at night when everything is quiet. It often wakes me up and has seriously affected my sleep. I reported it twice, but both maintenance and management said the noise is “normal” and that nothing can be done. For a building where the rent is already very high in Berkeley, basic living conditions like being able to sleep at night shouldn’t be this hard.
