Moved in my Junior year after spending a year on campus, followed by 2 other complexes near by. So, I can say this with a great side-by-side comparison: pound for pound, Flatiron beats the other places I've lived around LSU. Won't drag names through the mud, but these other complexes are HUGE, but not in a good way. I'd much rather share my community with 300 other people rather than 900. More people = MORE PROBLEMS. Flatiron has everything the others do (pool, study rooms, great gym, etc), but the units themselves are way nicer. Plus I snagged a studio which is an absolute game-changer (no roommates for the win). Regarding some negative comments; they changed managers this year and you can see a difference. I honestly don't get a lot of the communication issues tbh - I've never had an issue! But to each their own. If you do have an issue, trust me.. they get WAY worse at other places. Way, wayyyy worse. I've felt safe, comfortable and honestly, this place is QUIET. Double-majoring, that was a big thing for me.

I’ve really enjoyed living at Flatiron these past few years. The location, amenities, and overall community make it a great place to live during college. My 5-bedroom apartment is spacious, with large rooms, plenty of storage, and a comfortable shared living area. Staff is professional and helpful when discussing concerns. Overall, Flatiron has been a positive living experience, and I’m happy to call it home.

Moving our niece in this August. Toured a few others but flatiron seemed the cleanest and safest. Seems to be a little more bang for your buck too.

From being able to answer all of my questions to help in completing the leasing requirements, the process was super easy and quick. Flatiron staff were kind and willing to answer any questions I had. Front office staff was 5 ⭐️! Looking forward to having my 🐅 Tiger live there soon!

My son lives at Flatiron, and he absolutely loves it! The location is perfect for getting to campus via walking and enjoying the college experience, and the modern amenities make it so comfortable. It’s a great, secure place for an LSU student to call home.
