OTHER REVIEWS & SOCIAL MEDIA POST ARE NOT LYING PLEASE STAY AWAY !!!!! Parents do not let your child rent here because my mom fully regrets letting me with these hateful low life people. The only decent thing about staying at Alight is the rent pricing but they only have the deals on rent pricing because they cannot keep residents. There is way better housing & more affordable housing you should put your money to. They have too many apartments with mold that’s been painted over, they will trick you with their fake smiles at your tour, & overall moving into my apartment first day it was so NASTY which I have video footage of everything. The wifi is so horrible & it’s been numerous of times I couldn’t even watch tv or complete assignments without having to go to a friends house. This place has been all over social media for the way they do college students and it’ll only take a lawyer to handle them the correct way because it’s honestly so sad !!! Their “ security” guards also hate and are jealous of the college students that live there with their rude attitudes which got my lease wrongfully terminated which I will get handled the correct way. People cars get broken into & so much more. They don’t do nothing to help prevent it or put up better security measures and hardly any cameras if you truly needed them which is sad. If I could give 0 stars I would , unprofessional, not a place for students due to their rudeness , & lack of consideration for COLLEGE students who come from different cities / states. Jayla Ford is so rude and the corporate office responds to no emails , they will mess up your credit with unnecessary fees as college students, & they charge multiple people who move out with weird damage fees. I dealt with a nasty/ disturbing roommate that the leasing office knew was nasty and still kept her in my apartment after multiple complaints from me and previous roommates. They trick people with their fake smiles until you’re actually living there and it seems to me they actually pick with people that live there.

Toured this property while helping a family member find their new home, and despite being understaffed, the team made the entire experience feel very personal and welcoming. They took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring we fully understood all fees and next steps. The communication was excellent, and the property itself was clean and well-maintained. I also really enjoyed the property manager’s patience making this a seamless move in! Overall, a great experience!

Overall, it’s been a decent experience. It does seem like they’re a little understaffed at times, which can make things feel a bit hectic. That said, management still makes an effort to help out and get you whatever information you need. Even when things are busy, they try to stay responsive and keep things moving.

i would genuinely rather sleep in a levee than to ever live at alight again. i usually read reviews and suck it up if it’s bad BUT PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW AND DECIDE TO STAY ELSEWHERE. i didn’t even stay there a long time and still had the worst experience. i will write out a list for you to understand how bad it was living at alight. 1. pest problem: they have roaches of all variety at alight. you want to see a roach? they got about five different species of roach you can choose from. 2. fines: even if you have proof that you did not cause damages, they will not budge fr. they’ll charge out the posterior cause they’re money hungry. forgot to turn off a light at move out? $200 fee off rip. i genuinely sent proof of the issues and they still charged me for issues that occurred prior to my move in. then said “we can’t compare a previous resident’s file at move out to yours at move-in”, what that sound like? GREED! 3. state of the property: trash up and down the halls, questionable elevator access, questionable/confusing key system, valet trash is iffy. 4. wifi: yall. i’m writing this in DECEMBER, and left around august-ish. there was no wifi then. there’s apparently STILL no wifi now. how can you claim to be a premier student apartment complex with no wifi? most students use online platforms. 5. safety: aye, i didn’t see this, but when i moved in, my roommate said her old roommate car got shot up. don’t know the validity of that but….the fire alarms. fire alarms would go off in the middle of the night, wake me up, just for it to be false. sometimes, it’d go off for hours. you got folks taking batteries out of their alarms cause they can’t sleep. 6. THE STAFF: good god. the staff. there were a couple sweet people but omg some of their attitudes are insane as if they’re not playing with your money. overall, please, if you love yourself/your kid, do not let them stay at alight. there are other properties that won’t give you HALF of the issues that alight will. yeah, it’s cheap, yeah they be having “specials” but why do you think that is? they have a poor occupancy rate with terrible retention. 0/10, worse living experience ever. alight, do better. alight staff (with some exceptions) DO BETTER!

My last two years at this apartment has not been satisfying. Unfortunately, this year there was a fire above my apartment. I had to move out my apartment because Water was leaking everywhere due to the sprinklers being turned on from the fire. That day management had to move me to a new apartment because I could not sleep in my apartment that I was at originally. I moved into the new room that I was in and it was very dirty. They did not have maintenance or the cleaning crew come in the next day and scrub the carpet. I asked a manager that took me to the room. Will they be coming to clean the room? She told me yes. So I was waiting for someone to come to my room to clean the carpet. I also have videos of the carpet that day after I moved in because it was 12am when I moved in the apartment. They did not even offer to help me move. Thanks to the nice police officers they helped me. My mother was very displeased on how management handled that situation. On top of that the light did not work. The apartment is trying to charge me $110 for something they should have done before I moved in the new apartment. I am not responsible for $110 because management failed to do their job. I moved in alight in 2020 and the manager that was over alight she was amazing. The new managers are HORRIBLE. They tell you to get your own copy paper even though you pay for the computer room and the printer just to use it.when you try to talk to the head Manger they lie and say she on the phone but multiple times I called and walked in. She is just seating there …..Also, there has been multiple shootings at the apartment.
