Campus West Tallahassee, tallahassee-fl

I live at Campus West, and overall it has been a comfortable place to stay. The location is convenient and makes it easy to get to campus, restaurants, and stores around Gainesville. The community is usually quiet, which is nice, and the area feels practical for student living. Overall, it is a solid option if you want to live close to everything.

Everything happened yesterday, the day my room was delivered. When I arrived, the apartment smelled strongly of marijuana. More concerning, the smoke detectors had their batteries removed, and there was visible burn damage on the sofas caused by lighters. When I reported this yesterday, staff told me I would need to wait until Monday to speak with a manager. Meanwhile, these safety and fire hazards remain unresolved. I am not involved in any of these activities. I strongly recommend that anyone moving in carefully inspect the apartment on day one and document everything. Safety should be a priority. Edit:Management has now addressed my situation and confirmed that I will be moved to another room. I just need to wait one more day for the transfer, which I appreciate. However, my main concern remains that someone in one of the buildings is causing fire-related damage while smoke detectors were disabled. This represents a serious safety risk not just for one resident, but for the entire community. I hope this issue is fully addressed to prevent any future incidents.

Roaches all over the place and surrounding the apartment building. No security and my neighbors bike got stolen. Frats are so loud I can feel their bass from 2 blocks away. Bus is rarely on time. And they hold like 0 events. They advertise this place like it’s different from all the other crap places around Tallahassee and they slap exorbitant rent prices to “prove” it. You’re better off getting the same experience at University Village for 600 rather than 1000 here.

Shea was the absolute best! She gave us a tour about a week ago, and she was extremely personable and knowledgeable. She made us feel extremely welcomed. Overall, we had a great experience and all of our questions were answered by her. 10/10!

was really looking forward to move in. unfortunately, the apartment was completely unlivable and I could not even move in I had to leave. The unit was beyond filthy and there’s a serious bug infestation. Spiders and roaches have been crawling out of the dressers, dishwasher, and even the stove. The cabinets are filled with dead roaches and their droppings. I submitted maintenance requests, but my unit was just beyond disappointing.
