Dont sign a lease here!!! My apartment came with cleaning supplies & cleaning items in general and when I moved out I left it there because I assumed it came with the apartment. They are now stating that they will charge me for the items. They also enter the premises so many times without notification. The management are just pure rude and try to get every penny out of you. There is so much about this apartment complex that is wrong and i advise EVERYONE to stay out & lease somewhere else!! The washing machines were broken 80% of the time & they would take forever to fix it. When I moved into the apartment I moved out of, there was cat kibble everywhere and the place was just pure dirty. Mind you me and my roommate just moved in, and in the couch there was underwear. USED UNDERWEAR!!! Me and my previous roommate notified them about this but they ignored us and did not care. There were holes and dents in the walls and the carpet was shedding already. (They said they redid the carpets… WHERE??) I left the apartment way cleaner than I received it and they want to charge me??? Right. The apartments are also NOT renovated. The only ones renovated are select 4x4 . Dont expect a newer looking apartment if you get anything other than that. DONT SIGN THE LEASE HERE!!!

Location: Close to school, but not very walkable since it’s on top of a highway. Room size and conditions: Fair Staff: one star to Dana, for being really mean. She actually laughed at me in my face when i told her I don’t have a US bank account yet. Four star to other student staff, hardworking but not very professional. Five star to the cleaning lady and the repair guys, they are awesome (sorry I don’t know your names)

I pay 1,200+ a month just for everything to be so run down and for everything is broken. I mean seriously nothing gets fixed in a timely manner. It takes them weeks to fix a broken elevator, the gate lock was broken for weeks, wifi is ALWAYS down so i can't get anything done. Oh and might I add that the so called printer they provide? yeah that doesn't work at all. Oh and you think you can take a shower peacefully? Think again, the drainage here for bathrooms are terrible, its like swimming in a swimming pool, you can never get it unclogged no matter how much you try. Oh and you want to go use the cabinets in your kitchen? try again, half the doors and shelves will have missing screws.

It’s my second quarter at UVT and so far everything has been great. Fast internet connection, several study rooms including 24/7 printing room. There’s a laundry room on every floor, a 24/7 gym downstairs, 2 elevators, parking, security at night. UCR is within 12-25 mins walking distance (depending on the campus spot and your pace:)). Several dining options around the corner (@University Village Plaza). The Office and maintenance staff are always super-friendly and helpful. I am in 1b1b and my unit is spacious and has a beautiful view over the street and on the mountains. Compared to what I hear from my classmates staying at other places, UVT is offering one of the best furnished apt options possible. All kitchen equipment was already here: microwave, oven, dishwasher, a huge fridge. Apart from that kitchen/guest room had a couple of chairs and a dining table, TV table and a coffee table, a set of sofa+chair. The bedroom has 1 wardrobe closet, a bed with a mattress and a study desk +chair. So, you would only need to buy few extra items like bathroom curtains, bedsheets and cushions, extra lamps etc. which is easily manageable. There are no hidden costs – utilities and Internet are included so everything is transparent.
