Do not live here. Infestation of mice, flies, cockroaches. imagine waking up to 3 mice in your room, luckily we caught 2 so far but there’s more and it’s been 8 months since they shown up. All furniture is old and decaying. Elevators are always down and if it’s fixed just wait a week it’ll be down again. Whoever they hired to do paint and stuff is terrible. There is paint on my carpet that can’t be taken out. The oven runs cold(50F colder), no ice maker, no lights in the room (devious). The washers are expensive and a dryer had broken down and it took them forever to fix. The only good thing about here is the maintenance response, they are fast but on the amount of problems you will have you’ll know these people by heart during your stay. You are better off paying more at the summit or the chestnut, better yet live off campus way better than this.

Caveat emptor. The billing system for university crossings is shady and not upfront. My advice is that if you are paying for monthly rent, given two autopay options, choose “full balance” instead of “fixed” (even though it’s more of a pain because you have to log into the account every month and check to see what additional fees they added on. And trust me, they add on fees every month: undefined “processing fees” ,a “landlord liability fee” (that were not clearly stated on the lease) and the inevitable “overage fees” for utilities. I found out the hard way 3 months into the lease by getting notified via text that the account was past due, even though I had been checking my bank statement every month to make sure the auto pay had been sent. Long story short, after 3 months of any outstanding balance, they charge you an initial late fee of $35 and then an additional $10 EVERY SINGLE DAY! The reason I gave this review 1 star is strictly for the shady billing, however… I would give 5 stars to the person I dealt with when I called after receiving a nondescript past due text. I believe his name is “Samyak” . He was calm and very helpful as I explained my situation. He was able to speak with management and waive the late fees so that I could bring the account to zero after I paid the legit charges that had been accruing without having been notified in a timely fashion. Samyak is definitely an asset to the company and I would give him 5 stars. The billing, 1 star.

Drexel- 1 star is far too generous. My daughter’s toilet didn’t flush for the first month after move in. Maintenance would come sometimes but didn’t fix it until on FaceTime with us (we live in NH). Her shower head leaked all over the bathroom floor, the washing machines were unusable because they were completely covered in black mold. The biggest and most disgusting issue is the mice. They can be heard in the walls at night and they’ve climbed into the cabinets and eaten her food. The roommates have come back to mouse droppings all over their counters and floors. Maintenance came once - ONCE - and set a couple of traps but never came again to check them. She and her roommate had to hunt for them when the dead mice started to smell. The rent is ridiculous and in the lease it states that utility charges “may not be accurate.” She and her roommate were charged over $100 each for electricity for the month they were home during Christmas break - so when they weren’t even there to use electricity. Of note - there is another post about the mouse infestation posted five months ago and someone from UCrossings left a comment about notifying maintenance. Five months later and the mouse problem still exists and is worse than it was a few months ago. It’s not hard to conclude that this place only cares about collecting their rent. Don’t live here. Stay away and spread the word about how horrible this place is. ****** It’s also important to note that 5-star reviews are left by fake residents or residents who have been otherwise rewarded for their shining reviews.********

Was taken on a tour through the building by Nick and it was a great experience. All the staff I talked with were kind and helpful, and none of my questions went unanswered. The tour wasn't too long or short, and was easy to set up. Looking forward to UCross next year!
