Redpoint Norman, norman-ok

This place is poorly maintained. They do a low end quality prep before you move in. The management is not responsive and they go out of there way to add fraudulent charges after you move out for things like paint discoloration on the walls. I look forward to challenging this charge in small claims court and i hope they bring the same blurry picture as evidence to justify the scam. Update: we had already contacted you. You sent us the same "evidence" again and it just shows barely a horribly painted wall. You don't do a horrible painting of the units after 2 years of occupancy? I have the $60, but it is more about not letting you gain more profit than you deserve for being poorly managed. We will see how your evidence holds up. I got nothing but time to be in Norman and get it back. You do realize you'll have to use the same provided evidence? You can't take a new picture of some other poorly painted wall?

Absolutely ridiculous place to rent from. I regret signing my daughter up for this place. Poorly maintained, apartments are not in great shape. They have some money scheme when you move out, and charge for their horribly painted apartments. If you have a few different apartments to choose from and are trying to make a decision, pick the other one. Update since I got a lying response. It wasn't significant "paint discoloration" it was a painted wall white. It was poorly painted and your evidence was a picture of discoloration in your paint. The apartments were in poor shape to begin with. You don't paint your apartments after 2 years of occupancy? That is telling by itself. Keep our $60. I just will be a squeaky wheel.

redpoint is pretty nice compared to other apartments in norman but considering how expensive it is…it’s really not all that. idk why im paying $800 a month for the wifi to never work (even tho they supposedly came and “fixed” it). maintenance at the beginning would barely ever specified when they would come in so it was always a surprise + they do more inspections than other places. mail system also sucks (sometimes my packages are in the mailroom, mailbox, front door, etc., and they also don’t scan it properly). they’ll charge you for every possible thing they can think of so i would just save your money and pick somewhere else. love the community and the stray cats here tho!

I have lived here since I was a sophomore and I am now a super senior (4 years total). Finally graduating soon and leaving redpoint feels like i just escaped prison. I have never written a google review in my life, but I feel like I need to do this for the health and well being of any younger students looking for a place to live. 1) my Junior year they randomly "Upgraded" our WIFI, and it hasn't worked well enough to even load Canvas consistently to do homework since then (even on an ethernet connection). NOTHING loads on streaming services if multiple people in the complex are using the WIFI at the same time, I've just given up watching TV here at all during busy hours. it was so obvious they just cut costs on the WIFI for no reason other than a screw you because we can and we love money. (Just did a wifi test and had upload speeds in the kb/s) 2) I have found 3 live wasps inside of my room this semester alone (the 3rd was today which is why I decided to finally write this review) and my roommate has found 1. I'm almost positive there is NO attempt at any pest control services, probably because it cost's the management team money. (update: 4 wasps) 3) I had my rent setup to auto-pay on the first of every month and one month I was short in my account without knowing, instead of notifying me the charge didn't go through by email or their app, they waited until HALFWAY THROUGH THE MONTH to do a huge late fee charge me AND made me pay with physical money orders for the rest of the year long lease. 4) I have lived in three different units here, in the first the Washer and Dryer worked, in my last two units it takes 4 different 60 minute cycles in the dryer to dry your clothes. So you better have a free day each week to do laundry! and if you have to do two loads, no joke you better book an entire day to stay home. 5) Twice, I had my entire bath break and it was unable to turn off for around an hour, and both times the poor maintenance guy had to drive 30 minutes out here after hours. once again, terrible appliances. 6) They can clearly afford to make the main office boujie and host TONS of events throughout the year with free stuff, which is cool and I definitely take advantage of them, but then you realize its just marketing... more marketing to get you living here and pay them rent, and none of the money goes to improving living conditions for its residents at all. 7) In not one of the three apartments I've moved into has there even been an attempt to vacuum or clean anything, you will find trash, fake nails, fake lashes, and dirt everywhere. If the U.S. justice system was in a perfect world then the upper management of this place would have to take a humanitarian rights class and get jail time. The only silver lining is the local staff is always helpful and kind, including the maintenance team, but there's not much they can do when the upper management of the complex is so out of touch with reality, this is one of those apartment complexes that is clearly run by some corporate entity that doesn't even know this location exists. Update: This review was originally 1 star, but I decided to change it to 2 stars solely because of the new maintenance team. They are extremely helpful and want what Is best for the tenants. They are super respectful and always proactive on solving issues.
