Campus Station Apartments, norman-ok

I had a very pleasant experience living at Campus Station. It is very close to my office and the university, which made it extremely convenient. I am moving out because I need to relocate to Pennsylvania; otherwise, I would have happily continued living here. The office staff have been very kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend Campus Station to my friends.

In my opinion staff either makes or breaks any situation and the management team has been awesome to work with. they do sell the parking lot for game days but that is super normal for anywhere on campus. i had gotten a new car and on a late friday they brought me a sticker for my car to my door. they are easy to get ahold of but do not micromanage and give plenty of notice if they have to come into your apartment for maintenance things. they also communicate by putting flyers on your door and email.

Very close to campus, excellent for students. Water is paid for, includes free internet, and the management is friendly. The other residents are friendly and in my own experience tend to keep to themselves. Football season can be difficult due to people taking parking spots, often they are asked to pay to park and management tends to make certain that residents have a space but they can only do so much. Anyone who doesn't pay ends up towed. Maintenance is slow to get things done, I've had mold due to sink plumbing being improper and had to put a screen into the window myself when they didn't show after a month and 3 calls

The apartments are inexpensive and perfect for 1-2 people to live in. The neighbors are nice, we sort of have our own community. And internet is included in the rent. Unfortunately, the apartment management has decided to sell spots in our tiny parking lot for the OU game days. We don’t get any of the profit as residents, however the parking staff are reasonable though and if you talk to them they will help you. Maintenance can be hit or miss. Only because it can be hard to get ahold of the office. You have to leave an Message on the emergency line to get an immediate response. Or call the Sooner Traditions office directly. You must ensure that you lock your car every night, ours have been broken into multiple times as have many of our fellow tenants. Management won’t put in cameras. Basically it is cheap if you have to live here, but you probably won’t be happy. They are remodeling the inside of the units as tenants move out, so they will look different soon and hopefully update some of the other features and put in cameras for protection of future tenants.

There was a wave of popularity in cheap construction for apts. built in Oklahoma in the 70’s that are ready to fall apart there’s no denying that this place is one of them. Save your life.
