Overall, the quarters has been a good place to live. We have encountered a few issues, but for the most part they have been quickly resolved. The inside of our apartment is quite nice. When we first moved in, we had a problem with mold in our air ducts. It was fixed fairly quickly, but it was definitely frustrating. We have encountered other problems but maintenance is usually very quick to respond to those and very nice. The rooms are a little tight but having separate bathrooms makes it worth it. For a college apartment and the price, I am pretty content.

I would not recommend. They do not clean the apartments after move outs and will look for the most ridiculous things to charge you for when you move out. For example, we were charged for a drop of liquid soap that was left on the bathroom sink and some dust on the couch. We left the apartment cleaner than it was when we moved in. Also, the a/c did not work even though the issue was reported many times. Pics are from when we moved out. It is CLEAN!

Do not live here!! First year was fine even though half the time my A/C and heat never worked, they took forever to complete maintenance request and I had 2 incidents when maintenance just walked in without knocking (i called to report it but the quarters never contacted me back BOTH times). Workers in the leasing office were rude and didn’t know much information about anything and property manger was never available even at the times they said they would be. They wanted to raise rent but had nothing to offer for individuals in studio apartments. After I moved out I cleaned the place SPOTLESS I also did not have a car at the time so I had to walk to return my key, I have a timestamp of 12:10pm and they charged me $1000 for being 10 minutes late PLUS $700 for cleaning fees I included the photos I took AFTER move out and like another review on here it is spotless! So do not live here they literally play games and make you feel so uncomfortable that you can’t even call your apartment a home. Very unprofessional I cannot count how many times someone in that office has rolled their eyes at me for asking a simple question. Lastly, amenities are not always available. Fitness room has no A/C so during the summer it’s literally a sauna, they don’t take security seriously so there is instances where people sneak into the pool and now the entire complex gets spoken to in emails like children and they take away our “pool privileges” even though we pay for it. Save yourself the stress! They also claimed I stole their remote when I literally didn’t? You can see it in the photos, what am I going to do with a remote and not the tv? Silly.

The front desk is great. Very friendly and they were great at their jobs. The issue I have is that anytime I need something, there is never a manager available to speak and then they say that they will call me back the next day and I never get a phone call back. This has happened like 4 or 5 times now. All I ever want is the problem resolved but that doesn’t happen because there is never a manager available. Don’t try and re-let your apartment either. They will charge you an arm and a leg. Apartments are nice but do not recommend dealing with them.

I love living at The Quarters, but I can't recommend that anyone chooses to live here. Since starting our lease, we've had clogged pipes at move-in, appliance failures, unsealed weather stripping on the front door, poorly sealed windows, freezer not sealing, another fire alarm battery needing replaced, and an incident where all the fire alarms in the unit activated after turning on our heat. We put in a work order only for it to be immediately closed and told that it was normal, and had to make another one to finally get a response. Most recently, we have had a critter making noise in our roof. We got left a maintenance note that pest control was coming the 9th of December, only to find out that pest control was never actually called. It seems that these apartments are not well taken care of between residents' leases, and maintenance seems unwilling and resistant to resolving resident issues. I can understand it is a lot of work, but then a proper maintenance staff needs to be available so that the work of the whole property does not fall to one person. The staff at the front office are wonderful and always helpful, but if there is anything remotely wrong with your unit, it will be a complete and utter battle for anything to be done. It is a shame, because there are so many things to recommend this complex to people. There is no point to that though, if nothing can be properly maintained.
