Steeplechase Wood Circle, boone-nc

Lived at this apartment building complex and I'm very happy with my experience. While the housing situation in Boone makes it extremely difficult to get housing, this place is amazing if you get in. Parking is more fair than most complexes because we have guest passes. Maintenence and their crew are on top of things and very timely and friendly. When there was repair needed in the apartment, the crew came in within a day and began working on it. I was very impressed because MOST PLACES DONT HAVE MAINTENENCE THIS QUICK AND EFFECTIVE AMAZING JOB TO THEM. The price is very reasonable here. Pretty sure all the apartments at the complex are unfurnished, but it's very affordable here compared to the rest of Boone. Staying in a 4 Bedroom apartment especially made it affordable here. It can be warm in the rooms when you try to sleep, but if you have fans alongside the fan already on overhead, you should be fine. You can also get air flow going by having a door and/or window open. When you first move in it isn't easy to find where your apartment number is, but the complex isn't enormous so you could find it the first time and after that you'll just remember. The main difficulty is the need to make u-turns on King Street in order to head to campus from here, but you get used to it. It's not bad at all. This place is a great place to live as a student who needs to be near campus.
