After living at 100 Midtown for 2 years, I’m leaving with a pleasant taste in my mouth. I’ve enjoyed my flat; the noise levels aren’t bad at all, and the spaciousness is quite adequate. I appreciated that it was fully furnished and had a nice washer/dryer. Of course, it goes without saying that the location is unbeatable for a Georgia Tech student. The maintenance has been prompt; I’ve had no pest issues (to be fair, I am on the 6th floor). All my interactions with leasing staff have been friendly. Safety is pretty decent. That said, I think it would be good to have more visible cameras, a more secure garage (that prevented tailgating) and bike theft, and elevators with locks. But there have been no issues other than a single bike vandalism incident. I’d also recommend better under-counter lights for the kitchen. Overall: if you’re a student looking to live in Midtown on a budget, I think this is a great option. If I could do one thing differently, it would be to get a room facing the I-75 and Georgia Tech instead of random buildings. Thank you to the team!

Honestly, this place is decent for the price I pay in this area. It's been more than a year that I am living here and I have already renewed once. Infact, all of my current roomates renewed before because we had a good experience living here. I see a bunch of negative reviews complaining about various things. But I did not face any such issues like the wifi was reliable, quick maintainance, and no bed bugs or anything. I actually feel safer living in this apartment with the security patrolling reguarly and keeping an eye for unfamliar faces in the apartment. Never encountered any incidents here with respect to safety. No one asked me to give a review here. The fact is people who are happy with their stay don't usually put their reviews. I was also lazy to do at first. But I thought I will put this if it helps anyone.

I've heard horror stories about student housing around here, and 100 Midtown so far isn't bad as some of the others, but it still hsa its problems. (1) WiFi here is HORRIBLE. It's on and off, and completely unreliable. If you're taking an online test or job interview and the WiFi shuts off (I swear the leasing office does this to mess with students because they're bored), then good luck. This is something 100 Midtown is notorious for. (2) When I moved in, I noticed that the washer and dryer in my unit was broken. I submitted a maintenance request and the front desk told me they've ordered a new one, but CLEARLY THEY DID NOT, BECAUSE IT STILL HASN'T BEEN REPLACED! Now I have to spend $3.25 to do my laundry in the basement (for reference in on-campus housing laundry is free). (3) The front door is open, which literally allows anyone to come in. Homeless people, criminals, random creeps, you name it. Because students are too lazy to tap their access card on the scanner, the leasing office decides to just leave it open and let literally anyone come in. I just know one of these days there will be homeless people or a shooting here. If you are graduating in the fall and still want to live in student housing (i.e. fully furnished and easy application), then this is probably your only option, because most student apartments only do full-year leases, and finding a sublease for the fall is extremely difficult (whereas finding a spring or summer sublease is the easiest thing in the universe). At least 100 Midtown is very close to Publix, and right next to a gas station.

The office has been amazing and so kind. Whenever I go to the office they remember my name and our other conversations. They treat me like a friend and not just a rent check. The location is also great, I can walk to class and there is a grocery store right next door. The elevators are old and a problem but it seems like they are working on them. I've heard of people having bug problems but my roommate and I keep our place clean so I've never really had an issue with any bugs in our place.

My name is Lorenzo Hooper I just moved in last week, my apartment was not cleaned. Inspection was not done, to have to move in on the 17th of a month that I already paid rent for and was not prorated is crazy by itself. I had emailed my leasing consultant (Keana) repeatedly to try and get an understanding of this and she literally ignored me after i signed until move in day. It was hard to reach her to even sign the lease which was Outrages. For the apartment to not be inspected and cleared for move in is unheard of. Not to mention the roaches in the kitchen and cable in bedroom not working. I have had several issues maintenance has had to come to my apartment 3 times in one week. Today was the last straw I have parking in my lease, so I come out to my car 10 minutes ago and I have a boot, the man from LAZ not comprehending that I actually live here and that he needs to take the boot off because I have paid for parking in my lease. He was asking for $150 that I don’t have...I’m a college student I don’t have money to spare like that. I called the security desk (because he was not at his post) ......to explain to try and get a resolution and he laughed in my face. I’m greatly upset about this and am going to seek lease termination and my money back. So, in the end I ended up staying, I did not have the money to move at that time. They charged me 75$ a month after leaving saying I did not clean. I have vacuumed, bleached bathroom, and thoroughly cleaned my room and bathroom. I had to pay the money because they sent it to a collection’s agency so fast. I am reporting them to the housing association and other agencies because this is not right. I paid 1200 dollars to live in a run-down apartment, no one even cleaned the place before I came in to live. The apartment had like 6 roaches running the day of move in in the kitchen. I even woke up to one on my arm. This living environment is just not up to the standard of the rent they are trying to charge. Not to mention the missing security and broken front door. MANY homeless live in the stairwells. Then my car was even broken into, my $800 camera stolen but the homeless men that stay in the stairs well. The gate that encloses it sometimes just stays open, there were so many security risks. The door leading to the elevator to the apartments was ALWAYS broken so really anyone could enter when they liked. not to mention the $75 they made me pay after I left after I extensively cleaned. I even left roach motels behind that I payed for. I told management about the roaches and they said they sprayed a while back up stairs but they keep traveling up and down stairs. over the years. will post pictures later
