I lived here 2020-2025, and there are many problems. The rooms are in terrible condition, people leave trash in the hallways, someone threw a shopping cart in the pond and it stayed there for at least a year, packages are frequently stolen, the elevator is frequently broken, I found a live wire poking out of the ground near the front entrance, power outages are common (there was one period of time where it felt like I lost power almost monthly, and once I lost power for multiple weeks). When I moved in there was a 6-inch hole in my bathroom wall (not fixed). My shower made a high-pitched shrieking so I had to shower with earplugs for several weeks until they fixed it. They "repaired" the floors by taking out the carpet and putting in linoleum strips, but the contractor left glue on the floor, left holes in the floor, left part of the old carpet in, left their lunch in my apartment, left their floor scraps in my tub, and covered up vents with the baseboard. They left the room so dusty that I needed to move out until I had time to buy a respirator and clean my room. Someone on the floor above me left on the tap and at least an inch of water drained into my bathroom through the ceiling fan. The room was so dusty that my lymph nodes swelled up until I got two air filters (this has never happened to me before or since). I found that a fire door was missing it's handle so I called the fire marshal and willow tree replaced the handle. Later, I found that the knob for a different fire door was jammed so I called the office and their solution was to remove this handle too. I was compensated for power outages and the flooring with rent reimbursements in the form of a gift card, but it was not worth it. If I were advising myself from 5 years ago, I would tell myself to get an extra roommate and live somewhere else where I wouldn't have to deal with these kinds of issues. That's what I did this year and it has been well worth it. Do yourself a favor and do not live here unless you have no other choice.

My daughter just moved in as a new resident. The surroundings are beautiful and the location is very convenient for students at Michigan University. The apartments are spacious, and although some of the interior facilities are a bit dated, the maintenance team and property manager have been very responsive and quick to resolve any issues. I was a little hesitant at first because of the negative reviews I had read, but now I feel we made a great choice.

I have had 3 packages stolen from here. After the 2nd theft, I requested a review of security camera footage — there was a camera pointed directly at where my packages were left. Management refused, stating that a court-issued subpoena was required to access the footage. This policy is a practical dead end. Obtaining a subpoena requires active litigation, and building a case requires the very evidence they're withholding. Even the police detective expressed it was strange policy. By the time any legal process could compel them to act, their own retention policy ensures the footage no longer exists — confirmed when an investigator on my case was told the footage had already been deleted. The case was closed. All 3 packages are gone. The security cameras here create an illusion of safety. Management's response to theft is to direct tenants toward package insurance and away from any accountability on their part. Additional warnings for prospective tenants: - Patio spaces are prohibited from holding any personal items, including flower pots, leaving their purpose unclear. - Unit insulation and air circulation are poor, which may result in unexpectedly high energy bills. - Bug issues reported by other reviewers are, in my experience, accurate.

During the forced floor renovation, the maintenance workers completely trashed my home. I was shocked and furious to discover that the tea leaves I had thrown in the trash were deliberately placed on my bed and hidden under my pillow. This was not just unprofessional — it was downright disrespectful and disturbing.

Will give zero is I can. Have a floor renovation last week, the service people have no respect to residents and decide to throw all the dirty materials and trash on your beds, tooth brush, and tables. Shoes on the bed, hundreds years old heater on the bed, and every other disgusting thing you can think of. I have cameras in my room for safety purposes and WT team clearly don’t care what you think and remove it anyway. My monitor is found in the bath tub. The service people can come in and out of your room without permission and notice. I wish all the WT workers get the same treatment to themselves as I do and absolutely do not rent from this place! BTW first floor here is same as basement.
