Most of these people leaving bad reviews are because they don’t know what signing a lease means or don’t know the things coming with being a tenant. This place is super close to campus and has a big pool and a 24/7 weight room which was awesome. The living spaces are well kept up by maintenance and they are prompt in responding with concerns. Rooms are nice and I had all the space I needed. ;)

Avoid at all costs, management is terrible and has no concern for tenants. Mold throughout the building I won't be suprised when it gets condemned and torn down soon. Michael was nice to be noted but the place overall is so outdated and there is absolutly no privacy with the way the infrastructure is set up. Seriously do not move here.

The maintenance people came for our request about how there was a gap in the air conditioning unit which was blowing air from the outside during the wintertime. It was freezing and our room was at a constant 55 degrees F. When the maintenance finally showed up, my roommate and I weren’t present and they stepped on my roommate’s bed WITH THEIR SHOES ON. They pushed back the bedsheets and left their dirty footprints on the bed (pictures attached‼️). They filled the air gap with fiberglass and didn’t even clean up after themselves. There was fiberglass all over our beds, bedsheets, and rugs. Got an apology with a comforter compensation. On top of that, the day staff were always rude (but the night staff were actually helpful). The maintenance people were in our apartment way too many times during the year for inspections (which I understand but was annoyed). While they gave us a time window of when they would come, they almost never came during that time frame. It was extremely uncomfortable because sometimes they only knocked once and then unlocked my door with their keys. In addition, the fire alarms CONSTANTLY go off even at night. If there was a real fire, I wouldn’t have known because I would think it’s another false alarm. The walls were also paper-thin and I never got enough sleep. I moved out around May but my lease didn’t end until August and I didn’t want to return my keys until my lease end date just in case I needed to come back. Well, somehow, the rude lady at the front desk knew, and emailed me to give the keys if I moved out. My lease didn’t end and I told her I wasn’t fully moving out just yet. Then, when I came back to my apartment a week later (my lease still didn’t end) someone from UTowers --without warning or a notice -- had came into my apartment, rearranged the furniture, and spot painted the walls??? The lease specifically says not to paint over the walls, but, if a problem arises, how was I supposed to prove that this wasn’t me or my roommate. This was incredibly intrusive of the staff and I am beyond words to explain how upsetting this living experience was. The only good thing that I got from living here was the pumpkin they gave out at Halloween.

Apartment was decently clean and quiet. Maintainence guys were very quick and professional in addressing problems. However if you sign a lease here you need to be very careful. They will not tell you if you have an unpaid balance until the next month, and they will charge you an exorbitant $50+ late fee for it without reminding you or giving you the chance to pay. They will charge the late fee for a measly repair or lock out, and they won't waive it. After I inquired about it They responded along the lines of "there are hundreds of residents in the building and we cannot remind everybody of their unpaid balances" and they cannot treat me "special" than others. If you don't want to potentially lose hundreds of dollars you should demand a paper copy of your lease and paper copies of your balance (folio/ledger) EVERY SINGLE FIRST OF THE MONTH. Make sure that every single penny is paid in full on the 1st every month. The Night staff is decent, but the day staff and leasing agent are generally unhelpful once you signed your lease (in particular DJ and HS). The general manager (Bill) is polite enough. But overall not transparent in how they address their clientele. Overall my concerns were addressed months later or not at all. Just be careful and think carefully before signing.

I would not recommend living here unless you have no other options. There is no dishwasher and it is a very tiny apartment- basically like living in a dorm with a living room. We have to call maintenance extremely often for faults with the apartment - one time a light just shattered (untouched) as I was standing under it. We often have leaks, lightbulb issues, garbage disposal issues, AC issues, outlet issues, etc. Most of the staff is great, specifically the front desk staff, maintenance, and Michael Seeley. Heather Sproull is very rude and unprofessional, and many people have had issues with her as well. There are not many machines in the gym and most are very old/creaky. The pool closes in early September. The coffee/tea/hot chocolate machines often don't work. The location is great, but there are many better places close-by for way cheaper. The laundry is also pretty expensive and the washing machines are tiny, so you will have to put in multiple loads. The fridge/freezer is tiny as well, and the wifi often has issues. I will not be renewing my lease.
