I wouldn’t even give you half a star — unfortunately the system won’t let me go any lower. This place is absolutely unacceptable. The reception is constantly unmanned for no reason — nobody is ever there when you need them. They don’t reply to emails, they don’t answer phone calls, and it honestly feels like the staff just disappear during working hours. I have no idea what they are even doing. And the room? Disgusting. Everything was sticky and dirty, there were insects everywhere, and it was honestly unbearable. It was so filthy that it made me feel sick. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, creating a truly homely environment. The staff members were always friendly, approachable, and ready to assist with any requests, making me feel welcome and supported throughout my stay. The communal areas were excellent and provided the perfect space for both relaxation and socializing. Location-wise, being so close to everything in Islington made it incredibly convenient for both study and leisure activities. I truly appreciated the vibrant, safe, and welcoming atmosphere of the residence and the surrounding neighborhood. Thank you again for providing such a fantastic living experience. I would highly recommend AXO Islington to anyone looking for quality accommodation, and I look forward to staying with you again in the future!

I’ve been staying at Axo Islington since September 2024. As an international student, it’s been a very comfortable experience staying here. The location is ideal, with grocery stores and tube/bus stations in close access. The rooms are lovely, with great views. I love the privacy that a person gets when they’re living here, but if you’re a more social person, Axo holds events every now and then in the property so you can interact with other residents! The staff are lovely and helpful, and are not at all intrusive. The in property laundry units have been a lifesaver for me! I would genuinely recommend Axo Islington if you’re looking for a comfortable, easy place in London :)

The staff at reception are very helpful and always approachable. The hallways are always kept clean and I was surprised about the kitchen as well. Great location that isn’t too far from everything is a big bonus. Would definitely recommend to other people and have enjoyed my stay a lot.

the location is really nice, with proximity to key stores and a 15min bike ride to the centre. The community is not very lively, you rarely see anyone around, with the exception of a shared kitchen, which has its good and bad parts. Not much can be done by the administration about uncleanliness of your neighbours you share it with. Also, the smoke alarm gets triggered on average twice a week, sometimes in the middle of the night, which is however typical of student residences, though still very, very unfortunate. Administrative staff is great, though! Very nice and helpful. Overall, having lived in 4 student residences, this one is alright! Just your usual issues, but generally I've been fine here :)
