I should start with the negatives, as I think they are more important to mention to students like me. The biggest issue for me was the price, while Chapter Highbury is a very good accommodation, I do think it is quite expensive for what you actually get. Another negative is that the walls are, and I don't exaggerate, very thin. You can easily hear people in the rooms next to you or above you, If you are sensitive to noise or generally someone who makes a lot of noise, this is definitely something to keep in mind. The windows also do not open fully, which sometimes made the room feel a little enclosed and less airy. I went there in winter and still it was sometimes unventilated. That being said, there are many things that this accommodation does exceptionally well. First of all, security is excellent, I mean it is fantastic. As an 18-year-old tourist travelling alone, I felt incredibly safe throughout my stay. The building is well secured, access is controlled, and it does not feel directly exposed to the streets. There is also a private outdoor area with benches which adds to the feeling of safety and comfort. The location is great for students. It is very close to the Underground making it easy to get anywhere in London, even if you have never visited the city before. It is located right by London Metropolitan University and close to Emirates Stadium, which is a great area to stay in. Having a Costa Coffee, McDonald's, Subway, Aldi and a Sainsbury's literally next door is extremely convenient and makes daily life much easier, especially for students and visitors. The room itself was generally comfortable, and the bed was genuinely good. I slept very well during my stay. The housekeeping service was also very good. The room was regularly maintained, and everything was kept clean and organised throughout my visit. The atmosphere felt respectful, friendly, and mature. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or unsafe. The residents were very respectful and friendly The biggest highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the staff. The reception team and security staff were some of the friendliest people I have ever met in any accommodation. Even though I am a very shy person and sometimes I struggle to speak English, they were always welcoming, helpful, approachable, and genuinely kind. Their attitude made a huge difference to my stay, and I would like to sincerely thank them for their professionalism and friendliness. Overall, despite some clear downsides such as the high price, thin walls, and limited window opening, I had a very positive experience and would absolutely consider staying here again. However, I would definitely choose a room with a kitchen. Staying in a room without a kitchen can become quite difficult over time, especially without a fridge. That would be my strongest recommendation for future guests. Would I stay here again? Yes. Just next time, make sure to book a room with a kitchen.

Shoutout to Ade first and foremost! Best friend, best security, best person ever! X Spent my second year of uni at Chapter Highbury. Overall experience was great. The staff were nice and friendly, helpful and supportive. Ade, my number one best friend, needs a Michelin star for best security ever! Nicest person I’ve ever met whilst studying in London! Security staff were by far the best people and so funny when we were listening to music at 3am in the morning on full blast. Only had an issue with one member of staff who was always rude and disrespectful but there’s always one. Facilities - laundry room was good, machines all worked fine, expensive but you are a student and you pay for the premium lifestyle of staying in halls. Common areas were really nice and spacious except for the study room, it has no windows and feels just weird. The outside court yard is the best thing about this accommodation! You can chill, hang out with your mates, play some table tennis, do whatever outside, so chill and nice to have somewhere to sit outside. Room - 10/10 - I had a silver premium room as I was going for more space, better appliances and just wanted to be more comfy in my second year of university. This room consisted of a bed, desk, breakfast bar with stools, TV on the wall, wardrobe space, lots of cupboards, an actual oven, microwave, bathroom and floor to ceiling windows. Now the only issues with these windows are when it’s summer, it’s hot, the sun has been blasting on the windows for half the day, the room is a sauna and there is no way of cooling it down at night. Only issue I had with the room was this. Great location! Holloway Road tube station is near, bus stops and bike lanes. Ideal for London Met Uni students. Love Holloway Road! Feels like my home now after living there for three years! Overall had a great experience at this acclimation, there’s so much to say about it but it’s too much to write in a review. Really recommend staying here, it’s a premium price but the facilities are great, the location is good and you have great staff (bar one) surrounding you.

It is a very terrible accommodation. Don’t rent and stay here. First of all, the windows could not open. There was only a very NOISE air conditioner in the room for ventilation. Secondly, there was no hot water for shower in my first day. I could only use COLD water. Thirdly, the very NOISE air conditioner didn’t work suddenly. When I contact the security guard who was stay at the entrance of the building to ask for help, he could only give me two small fans for ventilation. Ridiculous! How could the two small fans ventilate the enclosed room? When I asked whether we could change the room, he replied that he could do NOTHING because he was only the guard. When I tried to contact the hotline to ask for help, no one answered my call. How lucky am I to have that very bad experience!
