I just love love LOVE nova. Living at nova my freshman year was the best experience of my life. I made so many friends and had my own space at the end of the day. I decided not to live in a dorm my freshman year as I love being able to cook my own meals, and have my own space to come back too. The walk to class was so easy and the amenities are amazing. Me and my friends tanned and swam in the pool almost everyday! Dahlia the manager and Carter on the nova staff are amazing and so efficient, definitely ask them for help when signing a lease! I cannot wait to live at nova again next year!

The property is beautiful and I especially am excited to use the golf simulator next year. Pamela gave a great tour and I knew to sign as soon as I saw the amenities and what Nova has to offer.

If the leasing office is going to be closed for a considerable time, residents should be emailed or texted. I had an important package come in on Thursday, well before the leasing office closed. But, per policy, I did not get an email to pick it up, so I waited. Only to later find out, after the office was closed, through an Instagram story that the leasing office would be closed until Tuesday. I acknowledge that the staff deserves to have breaks as well, but if I still have class on Friday and Monday, how am I supposed to know that my apartment complex will be closed? I get that the marketing for this establishment is focused on being "trendy", but many people aren't constantly checking Instagram for IMPORTANT updates. There should be a policy in place for situations like this, where residents are still allowed to pick up their packages. Now I have to wait for a birthday present I ordered weeks ago, when I could have asked to pick it up yesterday, since my friend's birthday is this weekend.

The apartments are great very good size personal bathrooms are very nice, but my only complaint is why they say on their golf simulator it’s open from 10 am- 10pm but they made it so only the people up front can open it and they close at 5. They should either make it so the people living here can open it again, or change the times it’s open online and in the apartment .

Parents beware!!! Moved my son in this Fall and am so upset with the apartments sign on deceptive tactics. He moved into a 6/6 …let me tell you what to watch out for: - rooms are the size of a glorified dorm room, the “dresser” is under the bed like in a dorm, no room for a TV… which leads to next issue - the day of move-in when we discovered there was no place to put a TV, we were told it could be mounted. We asked if they knew anyone that could and we were told “ just put a work order in and maintenance will get to it, it won’t be this week because they are busy but it’ll be next week” so when next Friday came around my son checked and work order said complete, he was told to put in another work order. I contacted the apartment myself and received a text message saying “ our maintenance team does not mount tv’s”, when I recited what we were told previously, the response was ..”sorry”, they like to say that a lot… - when the lease was signed my son was told he was receiving an early sign up discount of 100.00 off a month rate..great..FYI, we are paying close to 1,000 a month…the day of move in I went on website for something and the rate for same room is less than 800.00..also - on signing of the lease there was no mention of parking fees, granted, we never thought to ask because..this is Tallahassee and not NYC, well 1 week before move-in, during a parent ZOOM meeting it was brought up that parking is an extra 150.00 a month…but yet, we have like 8 spots out in front of the building - I did not realize until too late that the complex is on the border of Frenchtown which is apparently the one place in Tallahassee you don’t want to go after dark.. - finally, school started August 25, move in day was August 22…but you have to pay the entire month of August, then a week later pay September….if you want to move in early….you have to pay 400.00…that does not allow everyone to move in..just person paying 400.00 The lobby is lovely and clean and there are nice amenities…you can walk to campus but it’s a little hike… ..I was so tempted to break the lease and take the loss but there was no time etc….the whole thing is upsetting and knowing we have a whole year of this place stinks. He’s just going to make the most of it…but he’s not paying for it of course. Next year we will pay extra and move to college town district
