StateHouse Gaines, tallahassee-fl

I don’t live at Statehouse Gaines, but I’ve visited a few times and always had a really good experience. The place feels welcoming and well kept, and the staff have always been kind and easy to talk to whenever I’ve interacted with them. I also have a few friends who live there, and they’ve said great things, especially about the location and how convenient it is. From what I’ve seen and heard, it seems like a really solid place to live with a good community feel.

Statehouse Gaines is a really great place to live. It’s super beautiful inside and always feels clean and welcoming. The staff are honestly one of the best parts, they’re all extremely nice and actually take the time to work with residents on a personal level. They truly care about making sure everyone feels comfortable, heard, and supported, which makes such a big difference. Whenever you need help or have a question, they’re always willing to help and make the process easy. Overall, living at Statehouse Gaines feels less stressful and more like being part of a community rather than just an apartment building.

I live here and pay around 1500 a month including utilities. The elevator situation is unacceptable. Over half the time the elevator on the West side of the building is broken. The building manager refuses to do anything, I had a friend talk to him and he said it’s cheaper to fix it every week or so and have it break a day later than to figure out the issue. Ridiculous. I’ll be encouraging my friends to raise the issue, and look into renting elsewhere.

I am writing this review on behalf of my close friend Connie Millan, whose son Zachary Lewis requested an application on a visit in October. I was so disheartened to find out that Zachary, who requested an application completed it without a fee and was then sent to a site where he apparently signed the lease without much knowledge of what was going on. He did not pay a lease fee He was never at the point nor was his mother that they were choosing State Tallahassee as of yet, what surprised me even more was the fact that you do not do background checks or credit checks or any check on anyone Living there. For these young adults to not be background checked it's pretty scary to me. I would never allow my child to live in an apartment where that has not been a background check, especially for young adults who are living, mostly on their without their parents. One must wonder, why there have been many missing young adults, and so many killings on campuses. I believe that that is something that should be addressed, but regardless of all this since the parents is the one that pays for their education this is something that should've been shared with them and not by email very bad practice. So parents, please please beware of state practices with regard to leasing apartments to young adults. Here you have a mother who is now being told that there's nothing they can do and that she would be responsible for paying $17,000 a year and her son does not even in that school.

I love living here and always have a very easy time getting packages. Emi in the front office is always in a great mood and ready to help.
