The most affordable housing near campus. Great location probably the closest to campus and cheapest one you can find, if you are renting with roommate. The management are pretty nice, if you have any issues they'll get it fix pretty fast. It's a bit old compare to the more fancy aparements but they also cost twice the price. If you want bang for buck, it's pretty nice here.

This place should be condemned. Literally. The list of things wrong with this place goes on and on, but I'll list a few. Staff is tragically unorganized and couldn't care less about anyone living there. They tried to bill me for something I had already paid for and when I told them to look it up in their book, they found it and started speaking in another language so I couldn't understand them. You can walk into the office and pick up anyone's package. They'll never ask you a single question about who you are. The floors were "cleaned" (and they'll take that out of your security deposit), but when I went in with my own shampooer, the water came back pitch black. Twice. There's a massive mold problem they refuse to address because it's just "condensation." They'll walk into your apartment whenever with no warning, whether you’re there or not. You can hear the frats and sororities all night long and the apartment building even lets them park in the parking lot under the building. Good luck sleeping with the sound of the garage door going up and down all night. I'm sure they're breaking a million codes. Our fire alarm didn't work all year. There are MUCH better places to stay in Seattle for the same price. It is absolutely not worth the proximity to campus.

The management can't track accounting, rent is overpriced, the building isn't particularly well kept, laundry is way overpriced, bedrooms can't be locked and maintenance comes in without warning. the building is too close to a ridiculously loud frat house and to 45th, and the single-pane windows don't block out the noise of traffic or frat parties. management says things that don't line up with their contracts and will try to charge for unreasonable things, eg they charge a "cleaning deposit" of $200 when you move in and again when you move out. the contract says it's for cleaning and maintenance, but management will charge you for cleaning a second time when you move out. speaking Chinese doesn't even help; the management simply doesn't know how to manage or run a business. the lesson here: proximity to campus and a cheap sublease aren't worth the other $#!7 that goes on here. buying into this place will leave you emotionally struggling for the entire duration of your stay (until the management doesn't let you out of your contract, so you have to sublease your room to their next victim).
