Disgusting business practices. Do not rent/ lease if you are looking to have a decent living space. Roach infestations that they don't take care of. They'll enter your apartment and take photos without your knowledge and consent. Just don't like here because they don't abide by the Civil Codes for habitable living conditions.

WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! The landlord doesn’t care about anything besides paying rent. The landlord does illegal remodeling so the costs is on the tenant not them, when I reported this to the city the landlord responded by TAKING MY FRONT DOOR TO MAKE THE REMODELING “legal” again. Tenants have to illegally share electric meters even though that’s against the law. I’ve had multiple instances of extremely poor customer service as well as a general disregard for any maintenance and/or bug infestations that the tenants would need solved. Someone on my floor had cockroaches and the roaches would get into my room. When I asked how soon we could have an exterminator, the office said that I’d have to wait a FEW WEEKS because the landlord doesn’t want to pay an extra $35 for the exterminator to arrive before that…this place is so cheap they won’t even pay $35 to have the building cleaned when it’s the landlords job to do that regardless. DO NOT SIGN WITH FIRST CHOICE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT $$$$

I lived in 2666 Ellendale for a year. First choice housing looted me at every opportunity. They charged us the agreed upon rent + $300 every month in the name of frivolous maintenance fee. Couldn't find maintenance done at that charging cost. Amazon Parcels were stolen left and right. Once someone broke into the washer dryer unit and stole a bunch of cash. Thereafter, every use of washer cycle was $4 per use. Same for dryer. First choice housing is an easy way to get looted if you are a student.

Pretty cheap place considering it has enough amenities for anyone. Close enough to USC and Ralph's is nearby as well.

Maintenace never comes.
