The society is very good. But management is a little less responsive. There may be an issue with roaches when you move in initially. But that can be solved by asking the manager to get the apartment fumigated once every week for 3-4 weeks. The apartments are big and spacious. It is very close to the university. It's just next to the frat street. Safety from here to the university is no issue as there is DPS patrolling all along this route the entire night. Also this place has very good public transport connectivity and many places to eat just a 5min walk away. Overall I would say that the initial headache of roaches would seem nothing compared to all the advantages you get at this place.

Electricity bill was very high since all the appliances were electricity based. Unlike other places around USC area, they charge a lot from your deposit when you move out. I have lived in 4 places around this area during my time at USC and this was the worst in terms of value for money.

I've lived here for almost two years. I'm not sure where all the previous bad reviews have come from. For the most part I've enjoyed living here. Given the location and amenities (AC, large closet, new wood floors, parking) it's reasonably priced. I've personally never had issues with bed bugs or roaches, but I also was proactive and purchased mattress covers prior to moving and I keep my apartment very clean. In terms of management, they've always been very helpful and quick to respond to any issues. The manager is easily reachable by text and is quick to reply. Any maintenance issues were resolved with a couple days of requesting. The only downside is that there is often noise pollution from the row. Otherwise it's a very safe and generally quiet complex.

There are issues with roaches however it can be controlled with multiple rounds of fumigation. Overall the apartment is pretty good with somewhere around 40 units in it.

I living the apartment almost one year. There is a really good place for college students. Walk to the USC just 5 minutes, walk to the Metro station use 10 minutes. Drive to the I-10 freeway just 5 minutes. The apartment manage is good, it's safe and usually quirt. In the normal study days usually quirt. However, in some holiday the neighbor houses will have party, the rave music really loudly, but just few days. In addition, many fast food stores and restaurants around this area. The USC students village a really good place for hung out, drink and talk. The apartment location and environment are good. But before you move in you'd better find a suitable roommate first or know the person who will be your new roommate. It's really really important !
